Between her album, touring, and endorsements, her estimated income this year is somewhere around $350 million. She's not a great singer but is a great songwriter and has charisma to spare. Shows you what really makes a star these days. Thanks , AMAZING !!! and she didn't do it over night ...wonder what her personal security is like .BTW VIEWERS >>i am on the Beach in South Carolina at 12:46 with mostly sunny skies with happy white clouds passing by with sight autumn breeze .. I made a correction - it is closer to 175 million. I read the wrong number. But still amazing!!

Speaking of Ms. Swift, Here is the video of Taylor's lead single off her album - appropriately titled "ME!!!" which has been viewed on YouTube over 260 million times in less than six months.

A year ago, Grace was 5'6". My guess is she is now 5'7" or 5'8" and rail thin. In looks, she sort of reminds me of the 60s model Twiggy in her heyday. Or pop eyes girl friend I'll let you decide.

Between her album, touring, and endorsements, her estimated income this year is somewhere around $350 million. In an article published on Jul 10 2019, Forbes estimated Taylor Swift's income over the last 12 months to be $185M. She topped the celebrity list: www.forbes.com/celebrities/

The BB200 for albums is legit but the Hot 100 is a joke and everyone in the industry knows it. Billboard makes its living serving the recording industry. If "everyone" knew that Hot100 was a joke they would already have had BB change it. Instead it is still the most widely quoted metric of song popularity. I'm sure there is criticism of it but I suspect there is no consensus on how it should be changed. So, with all its faults, it is still the best metric and the gold standard of the industry. You will more than likely see Billboard completely overhaul the system just as the RIAA did a few years ago in determining platinum and gold album metrics. That may well be but until then, it is still the best metric we have.

You will more than likely see Billboard completely overhaul the system just as the RIAA did a few years ago in determining platinum and gold album metrics. That may well be but until then, it is still the best metric we have. Changing standard metrics like Billboard's or the Neilsons takes years and only takes place when the dust begins to settle. The RIAA changed theirs a few years ago and it has made major changes in how things are perceived that better reflects actual popularity among singers. There are singers who can't sell out small venues but regularly reside in the upper half of the BB Hot 100. On the other hand, Billy Eilish was never in the top 40 until the last six months and Grace is never in the Hot 100 but both sell out tickets and both of their videos and streams greatly outperform acts that are regularly in the Hot 100. The reason is the metric used - Grace is not played on mainstream radio and Billie wasn't until the last few months. Billboard's metric was designed when the biggest factors were sales in record stores and radio airplay. That still is the dominant factor in their metric and both are increasingly irrelevant. People are far more likely to discover new music from a Spotify or Itunes playlist than they are from the radio and far more likely to stream than purchase. Hence the BB Hot 100 is essentially irrelevant. The situation is similar to what is happening to the Neilsons for television in age of video-on-demand streaming. They have always done it one way and can't figure out how to measure it otherwise. I am sure Billboard will figure it out eventually but, until then, the streaming statistics provided by Itunes, Spotify, and Amazon provide a far better gauge of the situation than a dinosaur metric that counts radio airplay as 40% of the count.

Billboard's [Top 100] metric was designed when the biggest factors were sales in record stores and radio airplay. That still is the dominant factor in their metric and both are increasingly irrelevant. www.billboard.com/articles/news/8427967/billboard-changes-streaming-weighting-hot-100-billboard-200"Billboard will have multiple weighted tiers of streaming plays for the Hot 100, which take into account paid subscription streams (representing a full point value per play), ad-supported streams (representing a 2/3-point value per play) and programmed streams (representing a 1/2-point value per play). Those values are then applied to the chart’s formula alongside all-genre radio airplay and digital song sales data. Streaming remains the most dominant factor on the chart, followed by radio airplay and digital sales in descending order of significance." The industry has recognized the importance of streaming. I should add that the UK Top 100 songs doesn't even include radio airplay.

I'm sure Connie's and Paul's fans are disappointed. I heard that Simon Cowell offered both of them Golden Buzzers and world tours. But Connie's parents turned him down - they wanted a normal life for their daughter and did not want a money hungry scumbag music promoter to dictate her future. Paul also turned him down because he wanted to spend more time with his family.

Good article on Tate McRae not only does she write her songs and dances she also does her own choreography. She is the newest of the group starting at the end of 2017 and completely launched her own career. She says she is going on a small tour later on and making another music video under her label. i-d.vice.com/en_us/article/a35e3g/tate-mcrae-music-interview

When you are young and growing quickly, it can be hard to keep any weight on - particularly when you are as high energy as she is onstage. To see the rate she is growing, note the differences in height between Grace and Sabrina Carpenter in these photos taken a year and a half apart: http://instagr.am/p/BnUer7CjJkA In the earlier pic on the left, Grace barely makes it up to Sabrina's eyes. In the later pic on the right, Grace has shot past Sabrina and is close to eating soup off her head. There is something genetic going on there. Grace obviously takes after her father who is also tall and thin. Her sister Olivia shares her fathers height but her mother's girth. The second through fourth pics in the series below have Grace and Olivia side by side:
http://instagr.am/p/ByuRUZ4A0NA In case anyone is wondering (since this is a prom pic for Olivia and she is with another girl), it is an open secret that Olivia is gay although it has never been publicly acknowledged. Given how close Grace is to her sister, that is likely why she has been so openly supportive of gay rights.
