Jackie looking stylish on her 22nd birthday I assume Jackie's family sent her birthday wishes in private. I suspect Mike make sure Jackie was OK with a public birthday wish before posting it. Now that Mike has posted, I wonder if anybody else will post a public wish. |

Looks like Jackie's birthday will be as dead as last years. It's 1:30 pm in Pittsburgh and no mention of her birthday.
No one on Ricks site is even mentioning it probably because Jackie's birthday represents 1 more year that she is farther away from that 10 year old they loved so much.
If he holds true to form, Mike might post something about her bday in the next day or so. Possibly Juliet as well. Yes, they tend not to post some things the same day. Maybe they want to focus on doing those things first rather than squeezing publicity out of them. Besides, greetings trickle in for more than 24 hours, given time zones; so later implies acknowledgement (in bulk, not individually) of more than earlier does. And in general, unless your location at a specific date and time is publicly known in advance anyway (like at a concert), it's more secure NOT to post things immediately. Like vacation pictures, don't post 'em until you're back home again, it reduces the risk of burglary (even for non public figures) or of people trying to "accidentally" meet you while you're traveling or on vacation. |

Easy to see why she would be depressed but the sad part is it is 100% hers and her family's fault. It is their fault Jackie has a very old and dwindling fan base. I surely isn't because she doesn't have the talent.
Hell I even went on Famous Birthdays to confirm Jackie's birthday was April 9 as I thought I might be mistake, because of the lack of enthusiasm around it.

Depressed over the way her career is going, the older she gets the smaller her career becomes. Jackie has not been able to pull in any of the other items she wanted, she has very little commercial value due to she super small fan base and one that doesn't ever represent her age group. But as I said it is her own fault, as over the years she has done nothing to pull in her age group. The very least she could have done was post something on instagram so that the fans she has left could wish her a happy birthday. |

That's pure speculation - about her bdays making her depressed. I doubt that...I think just she has just been more under the radar in general since she came back from her year long disappearance, meaning she just shares less in general. And if they made her depressed, I doubt her dad and sister would publicly wish her Happy Bday on Instagram. Jackie may be suffering from some depression...I wouldn't be surprised, but I just doubt bdays contribute to that much if at all. I mean, she's only 22. lol The good news is that she has been posting more and more in recent months, and she has been doing concerts again. All good signs! Now, I'm really curious if she actually ate that cake and ice cream from that photo, or how much she ate - just in that it would be an indication of how the treatment of her eating disorder is coming along. You would think having an anorexic pose with a plate of cake and ice cream would be a big no no, UNLESS she is getting better and actually eating it. |
