I don't think he is kidding. I think he really is that misinformed and ignorant. Steven not Agog. Sorry about that, Agog. Yes, the software quoted the wrong person again. The quick quote doesn't work. Sadly, I think you're right and Steven wasn't kidding.

Actually signed into law by George W. Bush and managed by his wall street darling appointee Timothy Geitner Ouch! But thanks for the correction GG. I'll review the TARP program later to correct my wrong impressions, I do still connect it in my mind with BHO. Oops. Signed into law by Bush. But Geithner was Obama's boy. So both Bush and Obama culpable.

That is one of the reason our President is having so much trouble draining it.

The swamp is not just Dems. but a lot of Repubs too. I agree with you on that but would go further and suggest that almost all Republicans are part of the big business corporate welfare problem in our country, which is far more costly to tax payers than the subsidizing of individual citizens via food stamps, general assistance, SS disability, etc. But as far as TARP in particular, that was definitely Bush administration supported and executed, then continued through Obama administration. I had forgotten that Geithner came on later. www.businessinsider.com/uncovered-tarp-docs-reveal-how-paulson-forced-banks-to-take-the-cash-2009-5

Yes, i am a stock investor and i make money from the corporations that you seem to hate but without those corporations the middle class wouldn't have jobs.

To clarify re: "almost all Republicans", I was referring to elected officials in government. Yes, i am a stock investor and i make money from the corporations that you seem to hate... On another point: I don't know if you're trying to be the Jame Bond of this forum or not, but I must say that I find it to be really silly and shallow to constantly bring up the accusation of "hate" to any point of view that is in disagreement with yours. You've done that several times now. Just like in critical discussions about Jackie and her career, what that tactic is - is a form of manipulation by those attempting to stymie the expression of viewpoints they don't like. It's gaming the common human trait of not wanting to be thought of as one who hates. It won't work on me but maybe you'll have some luck with others and you'll only have minimal disagreement in your participation here.

You must be a very smart well educated guy to spout all of that nonsense about attempting to control an argument by using a single word. I would never have thought of that. Oh, i went back and looked at some of my posts and you are right. I did tell lily that she should just go to proboards and start a hate Jackie forum. I have probably used it elsewhere but it is a common word that describes someone who is unreasonably against another. Would you feel better if i told you that i find your arguments unreasonable and or stupid? OK. They are, in my opinion.

After 16 years of occupying a sovereign nation, (Afghanistan), I think it's past time our people come home.

Agog, how many innocent babies did the homeless veterans kill in the genocide wars of imperialist America? You need not hesitate to call them "baby killers." If they are homeless, it is because the wrath of Allah is upon them. God is Great!

Agog, I never discuss sex. I find the subject extremely offensive.

We should make every possible effort to speak out against the Muslim ban, to fight for the survival of our planet, to stand alongside our undocumented neighbors, who are no longer safe in their homes, and to cheer on the LGBTQ community and women in their quests for fairness and equality. Once again, there is no liberty and justice for LGBTQ, for women, for the Muslims, and for our undocumented neighbors. So you will never catch me saying the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag, because that would make me a liar. So agog, do not hold your breath, because I do not want to see you die of asphyxiation.
