When a star large star dies two major theories governing the workings of the universe , ..general relativity and quantum mechanics .. both go haywire ,like dials on an airplane wildly rotating during a tail spin .the star's core temp reaches 100 billion degrees , hunks of iron bigger then mount Everest are compacted instantly into grains of sand. those minute pieces are pulped into quarks and leptons and gluons and so on tinier and tinier denser and denser until the star becomes a black hole .

There are likely trillions of black holes but no one has seen one an no one ever will ,there is nothing to see it's a blank spot in space .there are some galaxy housing as much mass as 100 million suns an some thought to contain ten billion sun black holes .there are 100 billion galaxies in the universe .
a black hole might have originated in another universe but we may be living in it .
The sun will burn through the last of its hydrogen fuel in about five billion years . Amen an one hell of a big bang .
To think at one time there was no time , there was no anything but space then in a big bang we came , pieces of minerals .btw don't forget to eat your iron to be healthy

The world's wild an wacky roads . 1 . sea to sky highway ... #99 , 254 miles beginning at the US border near British Columbia an continuing through the greater Vancouver area where it ends north of Whistler . many displays of ocean vistas, coastal rain forests , scenic mountains and parks , rushing waterfalls , unique communities , wildlife an outdoor adventures as fishing , mountain biking , atv touring an snow sports .

# 2 , Old Yungas Road , Bolivia in south America , subject of many films an videos , the north end is considered by many as worlds most dangerous road. # 3 . The Passage Du Gois , in France ,in June thousands of runners gather on the causeway for the " Les Foulees du Gois " at Noirmourier with it's blue-an-white houses flowing mimosa trees an pristine beaches . # 4 . Baldwin Street , in the town of Dunedin in New Zealand , two festivals each year on the street , Gurbuster ( for fit people ) an the Jaffa Race ( candy roll ) .

GAIA MISSION circa 2013: One Billion Stars, 30,000 Light Years, And Petabytes Of Data
A mission by the European Space Agency (ESA) to measure and map the Milky Way promises to give astronomers a precise, detailed, and three-dimensional view of our galaxy. The five-year project will generate more than a petabyte ( = a thousand terabytes, and a terabyte = 1 trillion bytes) of data on the makeup, position, motion, and other characteristics of a billion stars.
ESA launched its data-collecting satellite—equipped with two telescopes, photon detectors, video processing unit, Sun shield, and other instruments—on December 19th 2013. In early January 2014, the satellite, called Gaia, arrived at a point in space 1.5 million kilometers from Earth known as “L2,” from which it will carry out its surveillance of the Galaxy.
Gaia will measure the spectra and light intensity of stars and determine their velocity using distances and motions. It will look for planets (by detecting “tiny wobbles” in a host star’s position), exploding stars, failed stars known as brown dwarfs, asteroids, comets, and “Planet X
,” a hypothetical tenth planet in our solar system.
Gaia will allow for the testing of Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, the space-time continuum, and gravitational waves, according to ESA.
The astrometry data collected by Gaia will augment scientific observations made by powerful ground-based telescopes. The University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy recently reported that new evidence shows that older stars are in the inner regions of the Milky Way and younger stars in the outer regions, lending support to theories that “our galaxy grew from the inside-out.”
The Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium, a group of more than 400 scientists at institutions across Europe, will use the data to study the solar system, galactic astronomy, cosmology, and more. “The data processing ground segment is a fundamental element of the mission,” according to ESA.
In doing so, ESA’s satellite will generate huge volumes of data. “It will single handedly increase the data we possess about where stars are located in space by thousands of times compared to all previous such measurements in history,” writes the Boston Globe.
An earlier star-mapping ESA mission called Hipparcos—launched in 1989 and concluded a few years later—recorded about 118,000 stars at distances of 300 light years.

Now 24 years later, this Gaia mission will result in a 3D map of the Milky Way that plots stars to a distance of 30,000 light years. Even with the vast scope of this mission—mapping a billion stars over five years—Gaia is only scratching the surface of what’s out there. Just The Milky Way alone contains more than 100 billion stars. Don't even get me started on the other numerous galaxies!!!!!!!

Yo Skyhawk, thought U might be interested in this comment on the above Forbes article by a certain William C Wesley.
William C Wesley 1 month ago commented on Forbes' John Foley article:-
"" These new findings support for the late physicist and professor Dr James Paul Wesley’s model of galaxy creation. He said quasars are not the most distant “objects” in the universe but are red shifted by gravity not by inflation/expansion which he rejected, according to him new galaxies are being created all the time by the following mechanism:
When super massive black bodies (black “holes) of many galactic masses that he said reside in great empty voids of space are drawn to one another by gravity they create a gravity null point between them when they approach, this rips open the event horizons of the black bodies because gravity is nonexistent at the null point. A great deal of proto matter then spews out of both black bodies because of this.
The two super heated jets of proto matter act as rockets braking the approach of the two super massive black bodies and send them slowly moving away from each other.
A quasar is the point where the two jets collide, it is red shifted because of the immense gravity of the two near by super massive black bodies. As the super massive black bodies move apart they leave the gas that will condense into the spiral arms of a new born galaxy. Because it takes a great deal of time to form the full length of the arms the stars at the outer edge condense from the gas later than those that are close to the center which condense earlier, hence the outer stars are younger than the inner stars.
At the point where the jets collided there is a smaller black body created from the compression of the colliding jets left behind, the “black hole” at the center of each galaxy. The trajectories sizes spins and velocities of the two super massive black bodies determines all the different types of galaxies observed, sometimes more than 2 super massive black bodies are involved at once in creating some galaxies.
these super massive black bodies keep the great voids void, they also absorb and therefor destroy galaxies thus there is an infinite and eternal cycle of galaxy creation and destruction in the universe, here is a pertinent quote from the report on the findings
“The astrometry data collected by Gaia will augment scientific observations made by powerful ground-based telescopes. The University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy recently reported that new evidence shows that older stars are in the inner regions of the Milky Way and younger stars in the outer regions, lending support to theories that “our galaxy grew from the inside-out.” ""
I am not a scientific guy. Most of what I know about the universe, I probably learned from the likes of Discovery Channel, Science Channel et al. So I find this statement of “thus there is an infinite and eternal cycle of galaxy creation and destruction in the universe” pretty far out! No idea the universe is a humongous recycling bin, LOL!

Yes , S-Master , that statement is rather hard to even try to understand as the mind can-not handle it completely yet or perhaps never .BTW the master is mia ? has he gone to the moon or even far , far out to the space of no where
