I can't believe what I'm seeing, that can't be Germany. Germans are too perfect to not wear masks and not social distance and congregate in massive crowds!! And those people aren't all young, even the elderly have joined in. YIKES. Then again, we Americans know that the Wuhan Virus isn't spread by protesters, only going to work, school, church, etc., spreads it. These folks had church at Walmart since the bureaucrats won't allow them to have normal services

You can't make this stuff up This is the first time you really have a point...this handling is just :facepalm: First cardinal rule in a catastrophe is to act calm, consistent so that people trust you. As we learned here in Germany, Europe ...normal masks, distancing rules work....numbers are now on the rise again, because people were on holiday, took measures not serious anymore. Masks work...there may be some situations in which a face mask may be apropriate e.g. in ICU But I have to say I took Dr. Birxx never serious..a real intelligent, serious scientist would have stopped Trump on the spot in a few situations or stepped back... Btw. last week a german streaming engineer that if the whole world population wore special pp3 masks always for 4 weeks Covid19 would be killed. Don‘t know if that is true. But it is also a fiction. Normal masks, distancing rules, no gatherings in rooms especially with no/bad ventilation work... It just would help if US citizens would follow normal, logic rules....for the start. This chaos in the USA is unbelievable. |

Yes we also have some idiots, crazy conspiracy theorists - but over 90% are supporting the governments policy.
You also have experts - in Harvard . According to one german politician who is also a doctor, studied, worked at Harvard he is in daily contact with his american collegues. Dr Lipsich (Harvard) explained to him in February the consequences of Covid19..this institute is the world leading institute in this field.
But Trump and crazy Pence don‘t use US experts - let them speak.

Our problems have been building over the last 50 years and are now being expressed in a variety of ways. Never letting a good crisis to go to waste, bureaucrats all over government are capitalizing on the fear and becoming authoritarian in nature. We've had a bad run of puppet globalist presidents including Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2 and Obama. Trump is far from perfect, but as he stated in his speech at Davos, he is doing his best to protect US sovereignty. |
