But I think you'd be surprised; with certain exceptions due to lifestyles of family members, I think most of them are, or at least once were, slightly right-of-center. |

I never said that it is land of milk and honey here...but if you read the article...it‘s a lot of bla, bla, bla..the elderly people in nursing homes are part of extreme high risk population. Often 80+++ , multile preconditions...so there has to be extreme measures for protecting. Btw. article stated also 500.000 tests /per week possible in Germany.. If eulenspiegel gets Covid, she'll choose to be intubated and hooked up to a vent rather than take a drug that might help because Pres. Trump said it looked promising. BTW, the stats in Germany aren't looking all that great anymore. By now, after listening to eulenspiegel, I would have thought they'd have it licked. idiom does not exist in german language but Dumm wie Brot oder (alt) Dumm wie Bohnenstroh the problem with not tested drugs is - that taking and dying perhaps more likely at a higher rate is not so intelligent.What I really find funny - many of Trump suporters don‘t want to vaccine - very widely tested - but taking a non tested drug I never said that the numbers in Germany won‘t rise but it seems it does not explode like in the USA btw. the whole Republican Party seems to be the Dumb as Bread Party..see Tennessee and Florida Governors - and I had the wrong idea that nothing can be more stupid than Sarah Palin..but it seems it is a mandatory requirement of membership. The drugs that the President was talking about have been through extensive testing and were used for decades and were already being tested on some C-19 patients and the results looked promising. Now if you're at deaths door and would rather take your chances without trying something that looked promising, so be it, but then don't call anyone else stupid. |

So you are still not understanding it..results of measures can only be seen 14 days later..it seems that it starts to slow down here..therefore the results of Florida lockdown may be seem in 14 days...as as Louisiana still nothing. NY will still be growing exponentially at least 10 days..numbers of today say nothing. NY already at the brink. |

The US has obtained supplies from other countries, but US distributors have also sold quite a bit TO other countries.
