This straw man-like, strategy is similar to the diversionary tactics against discussions regarding the origin of the outbreak. Discussion that the virus is indeed a natural virus from an animal that was previously contained within a Wuhan lab, then in the course of research was accidentally transmitted to a human there and escaped the labs confines.... is played up as instead an outcry that the virus was created by man and deliberately released... because this possibility has been widely discredited.

I know reading/understanding difficult....even in this article is mentioned the government vaccinated, they had a vaccine, a treatment...but still 100.000 died...

today we have no approved treatment, we have no vaccine, it‘s a completely new virus...learning day by day

Btw. if I am correct it was only luck that nothing more happened in 1968...I read an article two/three weeks ago...in contrast to now...one scientist in the USA when hearing about this, about a new flu virus ...despite being laughed at...bought immediately vaccine...there was no denying, incompetence of a President...Nixon, despite being problematic was intelligent. 

Btw. Obama acted on Sars, Ebola...and when he asked the congress to refill equipment...the Republican party said no, no money for that...they even cut the budget...so now all the Trumps, Republicans whining about Obama...they made the mistake.

And it's the Democrats who have always and always will do their best to keep the idea of racism alive, they do it for the votes and most non-whites oblige.  Every election they accuse the opposing party of being racists.

And a larger percentage of the (then-minority) Republican than Democrat legislators voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and it wouldn't have passed without them.

All politicians pander regardless of party, but Democrats do it more, and deliver less; and much of what they promise isn't deliverable by the means they would use (redistribution, etc; since there's no magic free stuff machine). A more recent suspicion is that they do't even WANT to solve problems, because keeping their base agitated is how they hang onto power.

No. If you start institutionalizing the meeting of basic needs, the list of basic needs will keep on growing forever. You want to help someone? Help them yourself, or voluntarily get together with others to do so. It isn't virtue and in the long run it isn't even help (not enough direct personal accountability, and no option to say "no" if there are more needy than resources and some of the needy keep failing to get more self-sufficient every time) if government does it. And of course, government redistribution turns the virtue of individual voluntary self-sacrifice for others into the vice of theft under color of authority. Heck, the decrease in virtue is probably more significant in the long run than how many bodies are kept undead for how long.
