Shooting and firearms are to murder as surgical tools are to abortion. They can have other uses, too. Doesn't mean every life must be saved at whatever cost to liberty; but to talk of excess, in 2017 in the US, there were 881,000 abortions, and 17,284 (other) murders. To those for whom the former even MIGHT be murders too, the numbers carry a different meaning. |
