Last night, Kailand and Mandla (and their mom) attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards party (the Elton John Oscar Party). The gala is by invitation only and raises money for AIDS research through tickets costing thousands of dollars each, and a celebrity auction. Last night's gala raised over $6.3 million. The party has been held each year beginning in 1993.

On his live story, Kailand posted a clip of he and Mandla and their mom on the red carpet, and also a photo of himself with Spike Lee.

During the auction Elton welcomed to the stage actor Taron Egerton, star of the upcoming motion picture film, ROCKETMAN; an epic musical fantasy about the incredible human story of Elton John. Following a short preview of the trailer and a trip to the London premiere on the [auction] block, the audience was taken by surprise when Taron suggested an off-the-cuff performance of 'Tiny Dancer', and Sir Elton John volunteering from the audience to accompany him on the piano. Guests were brought to their feet as they watched Elton John take his position on the keys while Taron belted out the lyrics to one of his most beloved ballads.

SIA GOES TO THE BALLET

Australian pop singer and songwriter Sia has unveiled a shoe collection for French dance and fashion company Repetto.

The designs channeled three of the ballet-inspired house’s styles — the demi-pointe ballet slippers, the Sophia ballerina flat and the Zizi tuxedo-oxford.

To celebrate the project, Sia created a series of images with “muse” Maddie Ziegler, who as a girl rose to instant fame for her visceral dancing in the video for “Chandelier.”

Repetto called the designs “whimsical” and said the “collection will capture the spirit of everyone who lives to their own beat.”

Yes, Lennon posted the photo below about an hour ago. Someone in the comments said the new music video is for a song called "Myself". This is the link to Lennon's YouTube channel, where the video will be posted.

For those who don't know, Lennon is Maisy's older sister. The two of them starred together in the ABC/CMT television series "Nashville". Maddie and Kenzie both love Lennon's music.

Lennon has announced today that in between her own headlining tour in March and April, and her opening-act tour with The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds of Summer, she will also tour the UK and Europe in May and June with Anne-Marie, an English singer/songwriter who is having a lot of success.
