For over three years you been posting things about some guy name Jacob Collier, and all this time, no one's made a reply. I'm just wondering why you would just keep on posting. Are you archiving your videos? You know this ain't the cloud, right? And YouTube's got 'em. And you know, hard drives ain't that expensive, so, you know, you could put the stuff on y'own computer.
Now don't get me wrong, I know you're not the only one, but you been doin it the longest, so you got the question. It looks like ain't nobody listening, so, why you keep doin it?

But in the end..he shows all of us …how to make music, to be creative…to use social media… and at the same time JE posts uncreative, boring trash posts. Jacob Collier, Tory Kelly etc. Witness me Kimmel Live Show Rehearsal Now also on youtube I saw the Kimmel performance. I like the music that Jacob Collier makes, but I can't deal with him. Maybe it's because I have a bias toward recorded music that does not include visuals. I grew up sitting in front of a stereo, putting on one album after another. Music is sonority, composition, soundstage, instrumentation, uniqueness, dynamics, etc., etc. It is not about the wacky personality of the performer. I hated glam metal bands, hair bands, Devo (except for the laughs the first time on MTV). Unless there is someone really attractive to look at (like the tall black singer in Jacob's band), I'm not really interested in watching his clownish attire, his wide-eyed eccentricity, his exaggerated mouth shaping of vowels, etc. He's a buffoon to me. I don't deny that he is an extremely talented musician, but as a performer he is off-putting as hell. |

I don't deny that he is an extremely talented musician, but as a performer he is off-putting as hell. now you are getting absurd..lol this was a quite normal performance…which could happen in every elementary school..in music ..daily… You may not like his outfit..but compared to JE performance on GMA…her dress..her hair… her fake mimicks, her fake emotion gestures.. Btw. you have to sing the vowels like that.. it is the technique needed… Perhaps going to a concert..new dates added…perhaps Mr Rausch should invite Jackie to a real concert..or you other OTs invite her… www.jacobcollier.com/tour/#/ |
