But Jackie is almost a professional constant on these AGT and spin offs everybody expects to see her now. AGT All Stars is the same show as AGT Champions. As far as I can recall, nobody has appeared twice as a contestant on AGT All-Stars/Champions. So we should not expect Jackie to appear again. I thought AGT would flame out like Pop Idol and X Factor USA, but they fit a circus niche market apparently. Naming these shows "ALL-Stars" and "Champions" is a weird exaggeration though. I don't see why anyone (save Fator) would go back at all unless they're struggling for an audience or need the money.

I think Fator is showing his appreciation for making him wealthy beyond anything he could have imagined in his wildest dreams. He could never take time before because of his casino residency (he did appear for one skit with Darci Lynn). It also will be a way of reminding everyone how entertaining he is before the next phase of his career.

Perfect opportunity to try out some of those original songs and hope one gets a great reaction...follow it up by posting it on her YouTube account.

Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that Jackie will ever be invited on national TV to sing an original song. She never received such an invitation after the release of COT. However, there is nothing to stop her from posting it on Youtube to be watched by anyone in the world.

Or an even more likely scenario is that she could flap her arms and fly to the moon. That would not only gain her a lot of attention, but it would also save NASA a lot of money.

This dicussion has been had before, and hasn't changed my opinion of how it looks to go back. When Jackie got knocked out the competition a couple more time, I just shake my head and go "stop it girl, for god sakes stop."

What the heck are you talking about flapping her arms, she has Angel Wings to get to where she’s going. 😇

LOL...true, it would be a long shot, but the best shot she's gonna get in terms of exposure. But I do like your idea too.

Why do you object to competitions? How are competitions different from any other form of national TV exposure?

They're different from other national TV exposure because they are competitions, that's a far cry from being a guest singer on AGT or another reality show. She's done AGT, Masked Singer and 2 Got Talent Champion Competitions that I'm aware of and didn't win any of them. Enough already.

You dont go on AGT and nationally televised competitions because you expect to win them, you go on them for the exposure. There are a lot of examples from AGT and American Idol where some who never even made the finals went on to have a lot of success and in some cases, much better careers than that actual winner of the competition. It's all about exposure. Jackie knows this, thats why she never misses the opportunity to appear on AGT, that's why she agreed to be on TMS, and that's why she agreed to sing at the inauguration in 2016 - perhaps the largest audience for a singer in the world. You are basically saying, "Enough, enough with free massive exposure for you signing to the world." LoL...are you crazy? LoL...that's horrible advice.

When Jackie got knocked out the competition a couple more time, I just shake my head and go "stop it girl, for god sakes stop." Jackie desperately needs the publicity. Why do you object to competitions? How are competitions different from any other form of national TV exposure? I don't (necessarily) object to competitions, as they are a great way to launch a career. But Jackie already launched her career, so what would be the purpose of competing again? What if Jackie went back to Kean Idol and bumped a teenager out of her first-place trophy? I'm pretty sure we would not all be cheering and claiming she deserved first place because she is better than that other girl, or because she needed to vindicate her second-place reputation. She'd be labeled a bully by the music press whether it be Kean Idol or AGT. As a guest, sure, why not. But even then I think it looks a little pathetic to keep going back, just as I would think it would look silly for, say, a town mayor to put on his old quarterback uniform for the homecoming parade to boost his chances of re-election. Maybe a bad analogy, but what I'm trying to say is that Jackie should be guarding against appearing to have stagnated, to not be moving forward (even though it may be true, there are other ways of doing that as we've discussed). I even felt this way about Connie Talbot coming back, even though arguably she needed the boost a lot more than Jackie. National TV exposure is something different. If an artist has something to sell, then doing a promo tour is necessary work. Granted, Jackie hasn't gotten much primetime exposure since her wee days, so one could argue that AGT is the way to get that. But now we're back to enough is enough, try something new and different. New and different sells if the timing is right, and she should not waste any more time playing the same old record. A more elitist argument (that I don't subscribe to) is that the instant talent show path to fame isn't a legitimate way to get recognized. Elton John and others have expressed this. It's a snobby argument put forward by people who "worked their way up" by walking uphill in the snow in both directions, in clubs, on the street, etc. But nobody would begrudge an artist for being finally "discovered" in a club, which would amount to instant fame. They all got there seemingly overnight, so I don't buy that argument.
