So most purchases after that [7 pm] would be from the box office. And I have no idea whether they were reflected on the map (no need to if a last hour actual purchase could no longer be completed online). Interesting would be snapshots at multiple times during the last hour, to see how late changes kept happening. If I recall correctly, during the last 30 mins (after 730p), I was able to go to the seat map, click on a seat, and the website offered to sell it to me. Which means that online sales were available to the end. Which means that the seat map must be accurate to the end, because an inaccurate seat map would inevitably result in double or triple sales. And double sales would be very very damaging to the venue's reputation. An easy way to confirm the availability of online sales would be to wait for the next concert (in Feb) and see if one can buy online tickets in the last 15 mins. Between at least 50% sold and merchandise (and snack/drink) sale, I doubt anyone lost $$ 462 seats sold out of 1045 is 44.2%, not 50%. And we don't know whether they were actually sold, all we know is that they were unavailable for purchase. Some could have been given away to donors, sponsors or the artist. So the 44.2% sold is a maximum, not a minimum. And we know there was a period when 25% discounts were offered. But I agree that Carnegie did not lose money. Between sponsors, donors, volunteers and other subsidies, Carnegie is celebrating its 125th anniversary and is doing fine. It clearly doesn't rely on Jackie's box office proceeds. ___________________________________________________ But the larger issue is what this means for Jackie. She used to sell 80%+ regularly. And this is in a Christmas concert in her hometown with local media exposure. And she has no other concerts scheduled. |

Btw "OTT" implies praise. I have not praised her, ive stated the facts. I was there on amazon from the beginning. It was a FAN forum before Mawriter (who was jealous of the success of DWM) and Catman, as well as you found it and trolled it ever since. You should hope that you are Caitlyn because then you would be absolutely brainwashed and gullible, if you weren't. Your alias theory is truly just another fantasy on your part. Your so-called facts are missing just one little thing at times.... the actual facts! OTT means literally OVER THE TOP which is literally a reference to behavior in general. The old Amazon site was a product discussion site. It was NEVER a fan site either. It is quite true that I use to post over at the old Amazon product forum. We discussed all of her albums and tracked her album sales from one album to another. That is the part that drove you nuts when we discussed the actual sale numbers from one album to another. Then you get the actual facts wrong (which is typical pattern of trolls to contradict themselves). I tracked her albums sales. I posted her albums sales. I was not driven nuts by something I did myself. As far as amazon, this was from my post a while back: Myself as someone who was an original/brought people over to amazon the amazon forum was about discussing Jackie's products and comparison of those products. There was an article put out by WSJ that came out after AGT (why did Jackie come in second? or something). There was a discussion in the comment section (Ricky was involved and he was much different, not a spammer or troll back then) and then one poster (who later went to the dwmic taping) decided to open a product discussion on amazon under her O Holy Night album. The O Holy Night discussion was created by a fan and it was a discussion amongst a number of fans and Lisa was involved. Then a DWM forum was opened up and so on. I mentioned a while back that the forum was thriving in those days with Lisa being involved and you said it was thriving because her career was thriving. When Lisa left and it ceased to be the way it was after a year or two and the discussion became negative, fans left. Btw 3/4 out of 1045 is close to 80%. |
