Dang, my old Santa suit is at the cleaners. Oh well, I guess the fake beard and hat will have to do.

Actually, she didn't say "I wrote", she ways "Wrote" so the pronoun is missing, which is almost certainly "We". She likely wrote it with those songwriters in Nashville that she spent time with. My guess is she contributed the words Santa and Christmas and the other songwriters wrote the rest. It's average at best and will amount to nothing. NEXT! I stated “she wrote” not “I wrote “ . You hitting the egg nog a little hard tonight Yasmine. Here’s a suggestion, stop being such a Debbie Downer all the time and give the girl some credit where credit is due.

I was referring to HER post, Busby. I disputed your claim that "she wrote" the song because HER statement didn't say "I wrote". Her statement just said "Wrote" and I pointed that out. And my assertion is that she did not write it herself, which you implied. She paid songwriters to help her and in all likelihood, she wrote very little of it. She has previously claimed to have written a lot of songs and even said before there was song she wrote on an album that wasn't. I am not giving someone credit for being a songwriter when it has never been proven that she can write anything (well, other than "a burger, large fries, milkshake").

It doesn’t matter if she wrote one word or all of them she still gets a song writing credit. IMO she needs to keep working with these Nashville collaborators, they’re on to something good.

I liked the song. Lyrics are good (something like unwrapping Santa, and at least I have him, etc.). And I'm all about recorded music and careful listening, and have grown tired of her concert vids. I say well done, it's a welcome contribution from her. Thumbs up.

I would have loved if she had performed her original Christmas song on national TV and then had it available for streaming.

Well Johnnyb you missed the boat again, it can take time making music, you can’t always put it on a time table it comes when it comes, you can’t just snap your fingers and you have a song! I would rather credit Jackie with coming up with a great song instead of pouring cold water over what Jackie has done!

You basically just talk out of your ass most of the time, you have no expertise in anything related to the music industry. Most people here are getting tired of your armchair spiel.
