I think one verse is: I'd love to unwrap Socal Fan for Christmas If he didn't live with his mother, that is. But I guess everything will be alright At least I have Simsy to keep me warm tonight. That's a lie. Jackie is mine and mine alone.

Re: Jackie's new Christmas song My hearing is not what it used to be. Although I hears sounds fine, I have trouble making out all the words in the lyrics so I'm missing maybe 25% of the lyrics. Can somebody with better hearing post the lyrics? Thanks. I think one verse is: I'd love to unwrap Socal Fan for Christmas If he didn't live with his mother, that is. But I guess everything will be alright At least I have Simsy to keep me warm tonight. Sniff...that's beautiful!

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch You really are a heel You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel!
You're a monster, Mr. Grinch Your heart's an empty hole Your brain is full of spiders, you've got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!
You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch You have termites in your smile You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch Given a choice between the two of you I'd take the seasick crocodile!
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch You're a nasty-wasty skunk Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote "Stink, stank, stunk!"
You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch You're the king of sinful sots Your heart's a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots, Mr. Grinch Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful Assortment of deplorable rubbish imaginable, mangled up in tangled up knots!
You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch With a nauseous super "naus"! You're a crooked dirty jockey and you drive a crooked hoss, Mr. Grinch You're a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce!

Anyone notice the similarity between the chords at the very beginning of the song (before Jackie starts singing) and the chords that begin Ave Maria? Compare the first 15 seconds of the first video with the first 10 seconds of the second video.
Not only that, the chorus melody sounds very similar to a famous, upbeat Christmas song...but I cant think of the name of it.

Glad to oblige, here you go:: Have a holly jolly Christmas It's the best time of the year ... Thanks, but that's not the right song. Jackie's song is "At Least I Have Santa" and the first few lines are: It's coming on Christmas ?? I'll be home said ?? And all these holiday melodies Are ones we used to sing It's beautiful this time of year And snowflakes bring a kind of cheer What's standing in my memory clear Is having those I love right here I ?? ... It's coming on Christmas sang Joni (looked it up and Joni Mitchell had a song called It's Coming on Christmas) I'll be home said Bing (I imagine Bing Crosby I'll Be Home For Christmas.

I thought the same thing about the melody, it sounds really familiar but I can't place it. I think the lyrics are pretty nice, I finally figured out most of what she's saying, and I like the melody. It's too bad she didn't record is professionally and get it out there sooner.

I wasn’t sure about the Joni and Bing opening lines but what you have deduced sure makes sense to me now.

Ave Maria intro chords, and at points throughout, may be okay to a point, but then the chorus melody is very much like that famous, very upbeat christmas song that we cant think of the of...she just slowed it down a bit (or whoever came of with this music for this song). Lyrics may all be original though, not questioning that.

I finally figured out most of what she's saying Can you share that with us? I can't decipher much of the rest of the song. And thanks for figuring out Joni and Bing. I would never have gotten it.

I'd try to write out the lyrics but I can't tell what she's singing on several lines.

I’ll have to listen another 1000 times to figure it out. LOL!
