Here's a novel idea: why don't we let Jackie do with her career what SHE wants rather than making presumptions. My position has always been for her to do whatever kind of music makes her happy. If that's CC, pop, country, whatever, go for it and give it your best shot.

Here's a novel idea: why don't we let Jackie do with her career what SHE wants rather than making presumptions. My position has always been for her to do whatever kind of music makes her happy. If that's CC, pop, country, whatever, go for it and give it your best shot. Sounds like a good idea but unfortunately she doesn’t seem to be having much luck in that department. Jackie can record any and all the music she wants to but there’s that pesky little thing of selling it to pay the bills. |

Since her fan base isn't expanding significantly, as her fans die off, so does what's left of her career. To those long in denial, like msims and colt, look at it this way. If you eliminate the food source of an endangered species, unless you find an alternative food source, the species will die off. Yes, you guessed it...Jackie's career is the endangered species and her fan base is the current dwindling food source. Jackie has seen the writing on the wall, and has been looking for an alternative food source for years...alas to no avail. |

Why don't you post about Grace in the Grace V thread? This thread is to discuss Jackie and Jackie-related showbiz stuff, which GraceV is part of. If we restricted this thread to only Jackie, the thread would go extinct since there is relatively little Jackie news, especially in the last few years. And who knows when Jackie will disappear next. |

Who in their right mind would book her after she bailed on those Florida concerts more than once and finally showed up to fulfill the contract 2 years later? And that's after disappearing for over a year with no fan communication or explanation. Even if she had some issues during that time, that type of behaviour showed promoters and venues that she is not dependable and may or may not show up with or without a valid excuse, leading to a gong show of cancellations, rescheduling, etc. The wineries didn't have to worry as much as they were open for food and drinks, they just have more customers if there is a better known performer. But a concert hall and venue is depending on the person to show up and perform, not to mention drawing a decent crowd and making a profit, which she can't do anymore (other than in her home town where there are sponsors, friends and family, or a big event where a bunch of people are going anyways like that NJ boat show where she guested with the local symphony). But as far as finding someone clueless enough to book her for her own solo concert at at a reasonably sized venue where profits matter, that is a thing of the past, although those fantasies still do exist in the minds of OTTs. |

I bet everything Jackie does goes through Mike's company JE touring. Jackie is probably a paid employee.

Completely unfair about the Florida concerts...concerts were being cancelled and postponed nationwide due to covid during that time. Her unexplained disappearance for that one year was from social media....that was the part that needed an explanation - she stopped communicating to her fans. But the postponed concerts weren't a surprise or unexplained...those were always assumed to be because of covid. |

http://instagr.am/p/B97Jjbih7C9 She didnt react unprofessionally, threaten to quit, and slam her fans for being older and more susceptible to covid which is something this one would do (would have put them at serious risk if she did the shows).  (Im only getting a thumbnail full pic is in this post) Everything the aliases have projected onto Jackie comes from this one. This isnt Jackie whatsoever. Theres nothing about this person that applies to Jackie in anyway. Jackie has much more respect for her fans and is much more professional and unfortunately had to suck it up not being able to perform. She also gained followers while being off of social media. So it didn't really hurt her whatsoever. Those who want attention or seek attention by acting nutty and making nutty arguments under aliases have no say about her career. |
