You just last night name dropped someone in the business who sings previous albums material on tour. I seem to recall this one did actually duet with Stevie Nicks on Rhiannon at the 2010 Grammys but it didn't go so well as I recall, not good. Anyways its no different with Jackie when she sings material from her previous albums because that is the point of the concerts, to play all your material. That would take a personality transplant conkey the troll has returned, calling himself a fan but stabbing her in the back as Guest5 put it well.

Nobody told Rickky that he spent over a decade on a forum dedicated to a CC Vocalist whos been successful singing multiple genres. It was time for Jackie to move away from CC a long time ago. Like many I was interested to see where her career will go. I did and still do like her singing but realize she needs to move on from a dying genre. Hope fully an album with all original music will work and being able to have concerts with originals. I liked Jackie's songs and stage presence a lot better on "The Masked Singer" than on any thing she done before that.

I like a wide variety of music, it’s to bad those in Jackie’s generation don’t feel the same way, Jackie herself likes all kind of music 🎶! Why can’t you enjoy a Jackie concert as well? Sorry but this:
Is just not going to work with the big venues or the concerts that attract the pop music crowd. Jackie would need to develop some type a stage presence like she had on The Masked Singer for one thing.
not her park and bark style that works in small venues.
You mean like this? This is as wild/active as Jackie gets onstage.

If the younger folks will come to something that includes some of what I like, I don't mind if some of it is also something they like. But if it has to be all their way, why should I just hand the world over to them when I'm still quite alive? You will be pleased to learn that the next generation has saved you the trouble of handing the world to them. They already took over the world a while ago. I'm not that old, and they're not in charge of anything except burger flipping and answering those hell desk phones that haven't been outsourced to India.

Jackie is who Jackie is. She's not going be able to transition to a wild and crazy extroverted pop star...dancing and gyrating all over the stage. It's not who she is. Can she make some more subtle changes? Sure, but they won't be that dramatic. Miley Cyrus was able to make that transition onstage, because she really was that wild, extrovert kept under wraps while she played Hanna Montana...then when she hit a certain age she underwent the transformation onstage and let it all hang out. Jackie is largely onstage who she is offstage. Sure, she could let loose a little more, but I don't think it would be much different. She's relatively conservative, awkward, and introverted. I find charm in all of that myself, although admittedly far from ideal if one is wanting to be a "pop star".

Jackie will not turn into a pop singer! That is not in her DNA 🧬, I CANNOT SEE HER BOUNCING AROUND OM STAGE LIKE THAT, I just hope she comes up with some good original music 🎶 to sing 🎤!

No genre dies*, although they certainly have their ups and downs. Traditional Celtic music, although a contributing influence to country and esp. bluegrass in the US, has definitely had times when it was nearly ignored save at home or in Irish bars vs times being rather fashionable, and that back and forth went on for a few centuries and continues to a degree . John Williams via Star Wars and others brought back broader interest in orchestral music. A couple of popular Phantom-like musicals would bring back CC to vitality for at least a few years. * some, mostly driven by a very few things, may get real rare. It would take another Saturday Night Fever to bring back competitive disco with lit floors etc. Although some traces persist; you've never tested your balance until you've ice skated in near dark with a disco ball's sparkles on the ice moving in the opposite direction.

How much of her back catalog Jackie performs on her tour of the next album will depend on what kind of music is on the album. Singing "How Great Thou Art" (for example) would not be out of place if her new album is country, but there would crickets and huh?s and wtf's if it's a pop album. There are plenty of songs from her catalog to fill the setlist without the musical whiplash that would result from doing arias or church music.
I doubt if Jackie is ever going to fill a 4000 seat theater anymore, but maybe. There are lots of 600-1000 seat venues out there that bands are packing in on tour. Less money per show, but more shows per week would give her a decent income.

There are a lot of pop singers who don't jump around on stage, Lana del rey, Adele for example.

I don’t think Richard says dump things, he has a right to his opinion as we all do!

I guess Carrie Underwood needs to work on her stage presence to since she does NOT bounce around when she sings "How Great Thou Art"

There are a lot of pop singers who don't jump around on stage, Lana del rey, Adele for example. Back when she was gravitationally challenged* (isn't any more, I gather), Adele couldn't get insurance for jumping around. * given image sensitivities, there's no nice way to say it, that's the closest I could think of
