Not a fan of editing either, except to correct spelling and grammar. Adding additional points is a sims thing, but Donkey don't deny you've ever done this. I've seen you edit over and over again for twenty minutes. If you thought of something to add, and it has only been a minute or two, use "ETA" on a separate line, but keep in mind that just because no one has responded, they might be in the process of doing so. And multiple people may have read the original post already. Finally, there is a provision in the edit screen to indicate a reason for the edit. It would be a courtesy to others if people would fill in the reason, even if as simple as "spelling & grammar" etc.

I can make more of an effort to get my post the way I want it before I post it. However, if you are hovering over my comment nonstop and noticing a few changes live as I make them within minutes of the post, that's weird. they are to add or subtract info or word something better, not to change my point after being called out on something. If someone is in the process of replying, then they have already captured my original post and it will be seen along with the response. No, I'm not going to explain myself to you with any small edit within minutes of a post. I don't change the main point of the post. |

The lack of awareness in a guest questioning whether a registered member can edit or not. You just want to have the final word under this or another guest account, Cait. Nobody told Rickky that he spent over a decade on a forum dedicated to a CC Vocalist whos been successful singing multiple genres. It was time for Jackie to move away from CC a long time ago. Like many I was interested to see where her career will go. I did and still do like her singing but realize she needs to move on from a dying genre. Hope fully an album with all original music will work and being able to have concerts with originals. I liked Jackie's songs and stage presence a lot better on "The Masked Singer" than on any thing she done before that. Classical Crossover or any crossover music by definition according to wiki (you know the OTT dictionary): "Crossover is a term applied to musical works or performers who appeal to different types of audience" TMS was the definition of a crossover. Kitty had a following on TMS reddit and I know she was well liked. If anything it would help for her to do more appearances like TMS in order to gain new fans. Im pretty sure I suggested it before that she should pursue being on a full tour with a mainstream artist. Ive considered CC options like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Celtic Woman (she met Chloe). But there could also be pop options too im sure, but none of the mops mentioned. Someone who is not that old, maybe slightly older where she could do a 30 minute or so opening set of mainly new material and a few classics. Also doing full concert gigs in between dates as well. Ive also questioned whether she should co-headline tour with someone from AGT such as Sons of Serendip or DF with Kat McPhee, etc. |

I sure would like to know what's up with Jackie and her concert booking plans. Seems a little odd that her first non- annual concert booking is ten months away, after not having done one for the past 8 months. For those counting, that's a year and a half with no concerts (other than the two annual ones in Ocean City and PA during Xmas). I am expecting more concert dates to fill in before then, but when will we start seeing them pop up on her schedule is the question. One poster on the other forum thinks there will be more Winery shows and pointed out that Jackie has recently started following the Chicago City Winery on her FB. Interesting. |
