Jackie proved she does have a great persona on the TMS! Now she needs to use that on stage in future concerts! Practice, Practice, Practice! Forget those lazy habits and get to work!

A few articles to note here.
There is an article about kids who went viral - including Jackie, Grace, and Connie Talbot - that really doesn't say anything we don't already know. Mainly just here's what they looked like then and now:
Also an article about AGT possibly having a spin-off for just the kid acts - similar to what they did on The Voice. I kniw in the past there has been some controversy that kids might get favored over adults because of the " cute" factor so I guess they put all the cute on one show. What surprised me is that kids have only won AGT three times. I haven't watched it regularly over the years but I thought it would have been more. It turns out the only three were Bianca Ryan the first year, Grace in season 11, and Darci Lynne Farmer in season 12. I think what happened was that when Grace won and the next year the last two were Darci Lynne and Angelica Hale, people probably thought kids were taking the show over. The article is here:

So I guess people will always find a reason to complain.
It does make sense financially to have a kids show. The AGT Champions/All-Stars thing is a dud that has run its course. They were running out of people who anyone wanted to see. The only people who won't like the idea are the people who are handlers since that will be a sh!tshow full of stage moms and drama. What goes on backstage would probably be more fun to watch than the acts.

Jackie proved she does have a great persona on the TMS! Sorry, but all Jackie did on TMS was dance and move the way every other pop singer dances and moves. She was special compared to the old Jackie but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other pop singers. What you are looking at is stage presence (which every singer learns), not persona. Persona is completely different from stage presence. In fact, from now on, I'm going to stop using the word persona and start calling it charisma, because everybody knows what charisma means. Charisma is not dancing and moving, charisma is the quality that attracts other people. And you can measure charisma by Google Trends and social media followers. What Jackie is missing right now is charisma and songwriting. We'll see if she develops any in the coming year. |

Then you can hear the awkwardness and at times, self-doubt. While singing she is very charismatic...a very pretty woman who oozes self-confidence while in the act of performing a song. I was struck by both things while at the Nashville concert. That leads to needing good, unique, original material and a way of performing it that stands out in a crowd...and good promotion of that material. If Jackie really wants a second, or revitalized career, she's going to need to experiment and try new things and take some chances. |

Jackie can improve her communication skills , she needs to work at it and get a great coach to help her not be so awkward when she speaks on stage , giving interviews etc!
