I would be happy to post whichever pic Grither prefers. But my personal taste finds that the altered aspect ratio makes Jackie look unnaturally fat and does not depict her as she actually looks. One solution would be what Rick did in his forum which is to put bands on the left and right of the pic to preserve the aspect ratio of the pic in the middle. Or there could be a band on only one side which contains the text. But it's up to Grither and donkey to decide. That's right, you keep the photo the same width but add blocks of color on either size so that the picture plus the colored blocks equal the proper width. That way the photo is not distorted. Yeah, side by side Jackie does indeed look fatter. A word to the wise...anyone submitting pictures to me, try to find wider pics. LOL There are a number of them out there.

Maybe it'll work but I don't think it's wide enough. It'll automatically repeat part of the picture on the sides, like when the black and white picture repeated.

The new pic works fine but with minor imperfections. As 1 Guest pointed out, your pic is 983 pixels wide, not 1000 pixels, so Proboards repeated a few pixels on both sides. It's only 8.5 pixels on each side so it's barely noticeable. Also, since you pic is 553 pixels tall, not 430 pixels, the bottom 123 pixels were not displayed. But that's just the bottom of Jackie's arm so not really important.
You are welcome to fine tune the pic or just leave it as is. Either is fine with me.
Edit Add: I have uploaded your latest revision where you removed pixels from the bottom. But the pixels you removed were not being displayed anyway (since they more more than 430 pixels tall) so the displayed Banner Image looks the same.

Not being familiar with Paint Shop Pro, here's a general procedure that should work with most image editors:
Create new image in desired dimensions for banner.
Set its desired background color.
Create scaled copy of existing image, preserving aspect ratio, so that it fits (usually meaning height is the same, given how wide the banner is).
Paste scaled image into desired position (either centered or more to one side for text on the other side) into blank banner image.
Add additional text, etc into the background areas. May be easier if they are separate boxes created for everything to either side of the pasted image; that way, the text can be aligned to those boxes.
(I'm not much when it comes to image editing, but that procedure would likely work with a couple of image editors I have - on a Mac, although I do have Windows available to me too in a pinch, just don't like it much.)
I've seen a number of fan posted photos on Facebook etc that didn't preserve aspect ratio. Cameras are, except in very skilled hands, usually unflattering anyway, and given even typical let alone heightened sensitivities, making someone look wider is not kind, so preserving aspect ratio (and using an image that didn't already get that wrong) is IMO a big deal.

I now see the new song on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. Unless SnapChat or Thread or something else becomes wildly popular, I think that's reasonably complete coverage...even if it didn't happen ASAP. (never underestimate the temptation to tinker with something before posting it)

Okay, try this...I fixed the horizontal. It came at the expense of the vertical...but only slightly. Success! We'll keep this, thank you.

Keep in mind, I'm only using a limited, free version of it. lol GIMP is nearly as powerful as Adobe PhotoShop, and free. But it's NOT easy, the learning curve is nasty. I've used it only a little. On Macs, there's a derivative with much of its functionality that's easier, but AFAIK that's not available for Windows. But there are unrelated alternatives. paint.net is said to be pretty good. Two versions, one free via the (spammy) website getpaint.net, and one paid ($9.99 in the US) via the Microsoft Store, only difference supposedly being that the Microsoft Store one will get updates along with everything else obtained there, while the one from the website, you have to periodically check back and update it yourself. I have NOT used paint.net, so I don't know its exact capabilities, but reviews suggest that it's reasonably but not super powerful, while still reasonably easy to use.
