Something maybe going on with instagram it seem there are many accounts that lost most of their post Jenna Ortega only has 57 posts left, Kenzie 78 and Maddie 44 post left, I checked some others and found most of their post gone. They have been posting as long as Jackie has and Jackie has 1416 posts. I am sure we will find out tomorrow when they look at their site and say WTF happened. My guess is they got rid of the photos when they were younger or could be seen as immature in order to present a more grown up image. It's common to do an Instagram reinvention of yourself at milestones. Taylor Swift started it on her first release after she turned 30. Grace did it for her first release after turning 18. Jenna and Maddie just did a serious film for Netflix and probably do not want to be seen from their reality show and kids TV pasts. Kenzie probably followed because that's what little sisters do. |

I'm sure they made a lot of mistakes. But mabye their intentions were good here. Mabye when Jackie wasn't performing or appearing in some interview, they wanted her to spend her personal time around faimily to keep her grounded in reality. Mabye she didnt want her friends to be in the industry at all. How many kids got caught up in "the business" too much and ended up turning to drugs, drinking, and other self destructive behavior? How many kids in the general population end up turning to drugs, drinking and other self destructive behavior.

Well that sure as hell is an understatement, Jackie doesn't do anything with out family she doesn't even know how to act around her own age group. They were probably more afraid that Jackie would find that almost all young celebrities are no different that others their age. They like the same music the same movies they like to go to places like Disney World, the beach, vacations, parties. But what they all seem to have in common that Jackie doesn't is they don't bring Mommy or Daddy with them every time they want to do something.
Who knows maybe some day Jackie will rebel against her almost prison like environment. She already said Sh!t and that alone turned some against her. Maybe Jackie will do like Grace and just say F*ck this and do her own thing and listen to herself and act like she is 23.
I actually agree with that philosophy...to keep Jackie grounded and away from the business after work time is over. Unfortunately, she stayed too cooped up with family and family friends, probably largely because she became famous, paranoid, and didn't know who to trust. Plus, it's much easier not to make outside friends when you have multiple siblings to "play" with. I agree that is unhealthy and she doesn't act 23. However, that doesn't mean the decision to keep their kid away from the crazy world of show business and show business kids after hours was a mistake either. Seems to me that was a very rational choice. I probably would have tried to do the same thing. Your life can't be in the "fame" bubble 24/7...especially as a kid. Not healthy either. It was an attempt to keep Jackie grounded and one foot in the real world.
And I think it succeed in some ways. The disorders she has stemmed from other things, like people in the industry telling her she needed to be perfect, and not loving herself as a result...feeling like she nothing without her voice. A huge mistake the parents DID make in my opinion was having their young child support the whole family for years...even if Jackie was all for it at the time, she was a kid...unfair and enormous pressure. |

Yes I could see Maddie and Kenzie doing that but Jenna Ortega deleted so much many of her movies, things like going on the tonight show, hosting Saturday night live, and other big things that happened in the last year. I check on some others and the same thing happened to Ariana Greenblatt one of the stars in the new movie Barbie only has 31 post left. She was one of the stars in the movie "65 million years ago" (There were only two people in the Movie) and it was just released at the theaters March 10, 2023 and now Netflix picked it up and everything she posted about the movie is gone and she is only 15. Grace did it for her first release after turning 18. Not quite. Grace did her Instagram "purge" a week before her 17th birthday in 2021, leading up to the release of her two singles at the time of "Don't Assume What You Don't Know" and "Repeat." |

It's too bad Jackie can't have instagram show oldest post first so that her old followers won't have to scroll so far down. Seems they are not interestest in an older Jackie. Jackie's "Get Out Of My Life" only has 1080 likes and it was posted 4 days ago. Her tiktok doesn't look like it did any better only 35 comments and 0 likes. Jackie's must have something wrong with her tiktok as none of her post shows any likes. Maybe she waited to long to post it and they just got tired of looking for it. Maybe we can use msims logic and say all of her fans are to old to use TikTok.

I suspect most of her older base doesn't really even pay much attention to her on social media...except when they see a post they like some might give it a like. Most older people don't even use TikTok, or Instagram for that matter. Seems to me that Jackie is a whisper away from touring retirement homes as a career unfortunately. It's just not a good picture at all for her career at this point. It seems the couple years of covid lockdowns and resulting concert postponements, followed by a year of total unexplained disappearance, followed by a year (last year) of small, low attended concerts where jackie was forced to tour smallish, poorly attended wineries for a month with her latest album release, followed now by this year with almost no concerts again...well, it would seem she's just about done, working on originals aside. Luckily, she does still have the two yearly concerts that get enough attendance to make worthwhile...Ocean City and PA Xmas concerts. And, it looks like once in a blue moon she is able to get a private gig. But that's about it. |
