That's not hard to guess. The other kids were jealous of her success and all attention she got. Jackie was also not very sociable because she was very shy. The kids wrongly thought she was being arrogant and stuck up. What I'd really like to know is who Jackie is referring to in her instagram message when she says "I'm also putting out a message to people who put that pressure on me [to be perfect] and when they see it, if they see it, they're gonna know who they are." You really buy into this Jackie was always the victim, while other never seem to have those problems. Also wrong. A number of celebs have been bullied in school and/or on social media. |

There are endless stories of countless celebrities who have had all kinds of mental and emotional problems as a byproduct of their fame, from Elvis all the way down to someone like Dana Plato. |

Jackie had specific people in mind. I agree we will probably never find out who, which is why I wondered if Inside Scoop knows. One guess is David Foster, which may explain why they have not worked together since DWM although he has hired several talent show alumni. I will admit, David Foster did cross my mind. Don't know if it's true or not, but it does make you wonder. I hope not. I doubt it, didn't she always refer to him as her music dad, or something like that. It's hard to imagine anyone telling a child that they have to be perfect, yet alone several people. Telling her to work to do her best, sure, she was being paid to sing, but perfect? |

Billie Eilish from the Barbie sound track. Billie is so nice she seen Grace Vanderwaal with all those naked Ken dolls so she is making some clothes for them. That was a poignant video. Those Barbie costumes are little versions of Billie's baggy outfits. The concept of the song and video is outstanding, and I hope the movie is good. Greta Gerwig has done some respectable stuff, so I have high hopes that she didn't screw this up. Movies that play off of popular culture are sometimes real dogs, especially if they have a title that will turn some people away who will think it's a kid flick. Having been someone who has received either groans or blank stares when I mention proper nouns like Jackie, Buffy and Stargirl, I think think it's a shame that so many people pre-judge based on no information other than a word. |

Mabye she had some management other than her parents who were that way too? She said it was people in the music industry. Her parents kept pretty tight control of Jackie and Dad was around her constantly, so not really sure who was pushing her so hard to be perfect all the time where dad saw it and allowed it. |

A free-market advocate might say let ideas live or die on their own merit. That board was created so that Jackie's supposed True Fans tm would have a safe space to gush. SoCal even offered to let someone moderate it, but no one took him up on his offer. So now you want it to be mainstreamed back in? It has a special place already. It is a whole area of the "Main Category" as it is. |

Most were over 23 years old and you can search the internet for just about anything. But few mentioned on this has had the problems Jackie has. Many of the child actors/singers that had problems were because they weren't able to get away from that child image, like Dana Plato. Some like Sheryl Temple ended up dropping out of the entertainment field altogether. The vast majority does not have the school problems Jackie had, are the problems Jackie has today. I can't think of any celebrities so insecure that they have to cover up to take a photo on the beach. |

Everyone is different, everyone's circumstances are different, and every responds to things like fame in different ways. About the beach clothing...don't forget that Jackie has Anorexia and body dysphormia...she may think her body looks fat or ugly under those clothes for all we know. Billie Eilish made a career out of covering her body up and wearing sweatpants and oversized clothes all the time. She only recently started showing off more of her body. Jackie's a singer, not a sex symbol or model. She's also insecure about showing parts of her body, to put it mildly. If she doesn't feel comfortable wearing a bikini on the beach or for the camera, that is just fine. Think about it, you are criticizing an anorexic for not showing of her body. You might want to rethink that.  |
