"I have created a new banner image (that's what Proboards calls the picture at the top of the page). The pic was proposed by Saerdna who suggested a wider format. If a narrower format is used, Proboards automatically creates multiple images to fill up the space. The single wider image looks much nicer.
I intend to change the banner image regularly as I receive submissions.
I am therefore now inviting all posters to submit and upload new banner images for this forum. The rules are:
1. Your pic does not have to be a photo of Jackie. It can be a photo, drawing, or other artwork of Jackie or anything else. If you want to create something original, that would be fine. If you want to put your name on it, that would also be fine (Note that in the present pic, I inserted the credit "Proposed by Saerdna" in an unobtrusive place.)
2. The resolution should be exactly 1000x430 pixels to fit the allocated space. If it is larger, Proboards will chop off and omit the additional pixels. If it is smaller, Proboards will add multiple additional images to fill up the space (which is why we had triple images). For small pics, you could add a border or use more than one pic.
3. Your pic must contain the text "Jackie Evancho - Amazon Revisited" displayed very clearly and very prominently so every visitor knows immediately what this forum is.
4. Your pic must be positive and appropriate. The banner image is not the place for controversy.
