WE are talking Jackie an a contest , repent thee sinner . Jackie wasn't preaching to anyone...she was a ten year old cc singer singing a beautiful, popular cc-type song. While the cc genre she sang in may have hurt her in the voting, I contend that the religious aspect didn't hurt her. In fact, if anything, I think that Ave Maria got her a lot of votes due to its popularity. |

I'm not excited about the prospect at all...in fact...yawn. Why unless this is sarcasm? Well, I'd be much more interested in going to see a Jackie concert than a Jackie and Grimm concert. I just have little to no interest in Grimm's music...even though he is a decent singer. It would be pulling Jackie back to her AGT little girl days when she is supposed to be trying to move forward into singing her own music as an adult and moving away at least somewhat from the old music and old perceptions of a ten year old on AGT. This combo would just take everyone right back to 2010. |

You seem a little obsessed with the religion thing. lol I'm the most unreligious person you can imagine, and when Jackie sings Ave Maria or How Great Thou Art or The Prayer, they don't hit me as pushing religion in the slightest. They are just beautiful classics that she sings really well. Okay, yes, imma say it....BOOK IT!!!! ROFL |

Doesn't matter if she won or not. In signing the contract to be on AGT all of the top 10 were required to go on the AGT tour. Lisa said that they didn't know who won until it was released to the public and that the reason Jackie didn't go on all of the AGT tour was that because of her age it required a Judge to sign off on it. And you don't need to "win" shows like AGT, American Idol, etc. to have commercial success. It's all about getting lots of national exposure, which Jackie certainly did. And she had quite a bit more success after placing 2nd on AGT than Grimm did as the winner. It was a good deal for Jackie all the way around.That's how all lottery wins are, a good deal for the lucky ticket holder. |

The majority of them likely voted Grimm, while the majority of middle aged and older folks likely voted for Jackie. I do agree that raw talent-wise, Jackie was the winner. |

He's also finalizing a 2024 tour with fellow America's Got Talent superstar Jackie Evancho. While exact dates and locations are expected to be announced later this year, Grimm is determined to be ready for the shows. Very exciting! I'm looking forward to the announced. Hopefully Michael will be ready. I'm looking forward to seeing the names of the sucker venues that would fall for this. Must be all taxpayer funded. |

I don't know if it would help or hurt...you could be right. On the other hand, if Grimm's fanbase is small too, it may not matter much either way. |
