Why unless this is sarcasm? Well, I'd be much more interested in going to see a Jackie concert than a Jackie and Grimm concert. I just have little to no interest in Grimm's music...even though he is a decent singer. It would be pulling Jackie back to her AGT little girl days when she is supposed to be trying to move forward into singing her own music as an adult and moving away at least somewhat from the old music and old perceptions of a ten year old on AGT. This combo would just take everyone right back to 2010. Thats why its a great idea: She gets to promote her 2023/2024 self/new material (with hopefully multiple dates and in diff markets perhaps she hasnt been to before or in a while) and it ties into AGT, which is still a very powerful brand (she frankly helped to build that brand) and one that she is locked into. Plus I think they would sound good together, that is actually a crossover. I always liked that bluesy soulful rock or rock sound always have. I only discovered the CC sound (AB's Con te partiro aired on an italy episode of Sopranos in like 2000) and once I heard Jackie sing the same song, I fully got into it.

You may have a point there, msims. I've always thought Jackie's voice was especially well suited to the jazzy/blues type of music, which is what I know Grimm for. Time will tell.

I don't think touring with Michael Grimm would hurt her unless the album were released soon as she would have better uses of her time. However, I don't believe the album will be released until the end of the year at the earliest. The reason for thinking this is the case is they would want a few tracks released as leading singles with an accompanying video to promote the album release. This would give at least four to five months before the album. Plus I don't think a small operation like Melody Place would want to place the expenses of recording this album in this fiscal year when the revenues to offset it would not be recovered until next year. Release dates are often set by creative accounting considerations.
If what I stated above is true, Team Jackie could use a concert tour with Grimm to their mutual advantage. Clearly, Grimm wants to get back in the game and raise some money. Besides her share of the take, Jackie could use this as an opportunity to work on her stage act for the new material. She would see what works and what doesn't in terms of set order, etc. Plus she can work out any hiccups before doing her own larger tour next year to promote the album.
There is another obvious advantage: the media will be all over this tour. Going on tour to help out an ailing former competitor will generate a lot of media attention, a lot of good will with the public, and chances for interviews with major media outlets that have not been calling on Jackie regularly. When the chance comes, she can use it to point out her change in direction and her forthcoming album. They could share the same musicians to have a full band behind both and I might even consider having Jackie as a featured artist on a Grimm single if they can get that together in time. You certainly know that AGT would be all over this for their own greedy purposes of self-promotion but mutual back scratching is how show business works.

Just to add to what I stated in my earlier post (assuming my thoughts on the release date are accurate):
Next year, Jackie should do three "tours" (two real ones and one media-prep). The first one would be a media tour giving interviews to anyone, appearing on any national TV/radio/major podcast that will take her, and doing an IG Live of a rehearsal with her band (assuming she has one by then). She can also do IG Lives for the release of any singles and the album release. All this is to promote both her album and her two forthcoming tours.
I would assume one tour will be early next year and the other in the summer and/or early fall. The key is to find an established artist with whom Jackie's new music would be compatible who would be willing to take on Jackie as an opener. Let us remember that Jackie will be a newcomer in whatever direction she is now heading and she needs a chance to have people whose tastes would overlap with her new music to get a chance to hear her. Lots of acts will be gearing up for tours this year and looking for openers and she should try to attach herself to someone's tour. It doesn't have to be someone appearing in sports arenas but just the size halls Jackie had been accustomed to a few years ago. The difference is this will be an entirely different audience that doesn't know her or only knows the old her and this will be a definite way to expand her base. Naturally, her segment of the show will be shorter and she would only play new material or anything older that is compatible with it. The other tour would be Jackie as headliner and would be dependent upon demand. This would have a longer set and she could mix in older songs if she wished.
There are cases to be made in either direction for which tour should come first. My choice would be dependent on what tour affords her the best opportunity to expand her audience and when is that artist touring.

I don't think touring with Michael Grimm would hurt her Grimm is little known so he would add little to ticket sales. But he would take a significant share of the profits (maybe a third?). So Jackie might end up making less money touring with him than touring by herself.

I believe in having a open mind about if Jackie tours with Michael Grimm or not, I want more information on what such a tour would look like , places, dates , the venues themselves!
