Oh looky, BOGC giving Rick advice at how to weasel out of taking responsibility for neglect of his cats. Nice! I guess the rights (or lives) of cats don't matter to OTTs. rlhamil: Google for legal aid near (your city and state), just to be safe. Not all the results will be free service, so read them carefully. Given the health issues, something is off, so be careful of your own health too; you might have been exposed.4 minutes agoHe's had cats for ages, and until recently nothing unusual going on. So there's some cause in common to be solved, not tried. And he's vulnerable himself, whether to the health issue or to stressful human interactions that would grind him up.

Grace on Instagram sharing a new song and announcing a concert for September 26th The concert at Sep 26 will be at Elsewhere - Zone 1 in Brooklyn, capacity 200. There are 4 performers including Grace. Admission is general admission of $20.55. So each performer will average no more than $1000 for this gig, probably less. That's not much. I wonder what Grace's financial strategy is for her music career - I hope it is well planned. She is in the same position I have suggested Jackie aim for over the next few years. She has a back catslogue of songs that are getting streamed every month. She gets a minimum of 1,000,000 streams a month from Spotify alone. Usually over 1.5 million. That is only 1/2 to 1/3 her total. So she gets between 2 and 4.5 million streams a month. So without working she pulls in between $6,000 and $13,500 a month without working just from past recordings. This does not include any modeling or movies or social media or songwriting related income. In addition to the above, all the money she had netted before she was 18 went into a trust fund. Het parents were wealthy and didn't take anything. She used to joke her father never let her spend her money - she's probably glad he didn't now. She has been able to pretty much float through the last few years and get a place in a trendy area in NYC without doing much apart from being 19.

Disappointed, cats 🐈 are all Rick has , he doesn’t do well with others! He has had cats 🐈 for years, he is an old man with health problems, he would never on purpose neglect them !I think without his cats his health will only decline more! I normally don’t defend Rick because of his anti- Jackie stance but I can relate to how he feels about cats 🐈 having them since a little kid! They become important in your live , believe me I know !

Rick has Autism and has a very hard time interacting with people, the cats are his main source of companionship. He had Agog helping him out financially at times but I’m not sure what the status of their relationship is at this point.

Given what's happened, he might want to get a check-up; I have no idea what could have killed multiple cats over a few weeks, but it might affect humans too. And then he should probably have the place fumigated, mop all hard surfaces with disinfectant solution, clean carpets with an antibacterial carpet cleaner (they do exist), and wipe all other hard surfaces with disinfectant wipes. Some of that isn't expensive, but the fumigation probably is; although a few packs of DIY ones (Raid, although more expensive than Hot Shot, is less nasty) might be sufficient, if he can hold his breath for a couple of minutes and go somewhere else for a couple of hours.

You should go to his board and suggest these things to him.

So from everything I'm hearing, sounds like Rick is neglectful, but it's not willful neglect. He shouldn't get any jail time, but will be warned, educated, and possibly prohibited from owning future cats unless he can demonstrate the ability to care for them. I don't think very many people go to jail for animal cruelty, especially it wasn't intentional.

It could a case where he had to many cats 🐈, should have had just one and concentrate on that!

Over the next few years, I think it's a great idea for Grace to "find herself" and do what she wants with no pressure to do anything. She could even attend college if she wants (which might make her a better person but probably not a better musician). She just needs a good financial plan and stick to it. I'm not sure Jackie has the same luxury. We don't know how financially challenging the last few years have been and Jackie 2.0 may or may not succeed. Optimism is not a sound financial strategy.

Well like you don’t know Jackie’s finances, I don’t think we will see Jackie in a soup 🍲 kitchen anytime soon ! We don’t know investments that she has made etc! Like you said you’re not a Jackie fan and your post prove it!

I think having optimism is good to have but you can’t count on it for financial success!

Sir , the man can't take care of a cat and you want him to do as you suggest ? , is that realistic ? .
