Sorry Donk but you’re not paying enough attention to what Jackie has been saying in the songs that she has written. I’m convinced Jackie had suicidal thoughts, remember the picture she posted of the bleeding wrists. Most likely correct as most all people with anxiety disorders have some degree of depression with it , it's a fact as they go together , they may not post the depression disorder for a number of reasons , wrists are just one sign for there are other ways , if a Doctor asks are are you eating ? then it can be a sign . I strongly agree. Jackie has much more than just anorexia. Remember her long disappearance? Anorexia is an eating disorder, anorexics don't feel compelled to hide and isolate. But those who suffer from deep depression and anxiety do all the time. I don't think that Jackie has directly addressed her depression publicly, at least not yet, but she has addressed some of the anxiety she has experienced. One of the songs they previewed during the Zoom meeting was what Jackie referred to as a "very dark" topic. She didn't say it was about suicide, but that was the implication. Very distressing to anyone who cares about her.

I don't think there is any evidence that Jackie is mentally incompetent to handle her own affairs like Brittney was...Britney has long been a loon on edge of sanity. Jackie has an eating disorder and some anxiety. Totally different animals. Sorry Donk but you’re not paying enough attention to what Jackie has been saying in the songs that she has written. I’m convinced Jackie had suicidal thoughts, remember the picture she posted of the bleeding wrists. LoL...I don't think you have paid enough attention to my comments about Jackie's issues. I have referred to her anxiety issues as well a number of times, and also pointed out that one of the songs previewed in that Zoom meeting seemed to be talking about suicide. My point was that Britney is bat sh*t crazy, and Jackie isn't, at least not now.

My point was that Britney is bat sh*t crazy, and Jackie isn't, at least not now. I looked up Britney's birthday, which is December 2, 1981. That means if she was placed under conservatorship in January 2008, she would have been 26. So presumably she wasn't bat sh*t crazy at 23 either. Your last words "at least now now" may prove to be prescient.

Her sophomore debut Guts did according to HDD: 300k equivalents (148k in pure sales) for comparison with Dream with Me did 161k (also 12 years ago Lady Gaga opened with 1,108,000 with Born this Way and Sour in pure sales has done 988k to OHN's 1.2k). So how about a recent comparison then? Happier Than Ever did 238k equivalents including 154k in sales. OMG you are comparing Jackie's failures with Olivia's Sour and Guts. Maybe you should be under someones care. Did Sour win any GRAMMYs? It's been two years since her ground-breaking debut album SOUR, which landed her seven GRAMMY nominations and three wins — the latter for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance ("drivers license") at the 2022 GRAMMYs. Spotify Streams Sour Album How many streams does Olivia Rodrigo SOUR have on Spotify? Olivia Rodrigo has hit over 10 billion streams on Spotify with her debut album SOUR. Following Dua Lipa, she is the second female artist to achieve this. This news of Rodrigo's success is welcomed by fans, who are delighted that the singer has reached such heights. And as for Guts that came out the same time Jackie released her new song. spotify streams. So far of what been release of her Guts album that came out a week ago Vampire 368,688,704 (Vampire was release a month early probably as a tease for her new Guts album) Bad Idea Right 119,733,145 Get Him Back 34,429,462 All American Bitch 29,495,595 Lets not forget Olivia's 2024 "GUTS" Tour that she has scheduled so far. 75 arenas http://instagram.com/p/CxNxOWtLPL5 www.oliviarodrigo.com/msims you are downright funny thinking you can compare Jackie to any real artist much less Olivia.

Maybe you should be under someones care. Likewise. So now you want to compare Jackie to Sour opened with 295,000 album-equivalent units, of which 72,000 were album sales. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? opened with 313,000 album-equivalent units, of which 170,000 were pure album sales. Ended up doing overall in pure sales: 1.325m and then the follow up did 500k both in pure sales. Sour did in pure sales: Sour had two number one singles. Guts only had one, the other singles didnt chart higher. But neither is that the case with When We.. but she had bigger singles and its a bigger album. Even years later there is such a thing as the sophomore decrease in some cases. Pop requires singles to either chart high or be streamed/sold continually alot of to push an album. She cites her musical influences such as Alanis Morrisette who has one of the biggest albums ever, it was a monster in the 90's. Also Britney was mentioned, she was a mega seller too. For context sake, Jackie sold those albums without huge singles. Thats what makes it very interesting and topical/relevant today.

On February 1, 2008, American singer Britney Spears was involuntarily placed under a conservatorship by Judge Reva Goetz, with her father, James "Jamie" Spears, and attorney Andrew M. Wallet, as conservators. The conservatorship lasted until November 2021. Maybe Jackie is incapable of handling her affairs just like Britney was. I don't believe Mike is really in charge of much anymore. The people influencing Jackie the most are Christina, Greg Camp, Sanborn McGraw, and then Mike. Lisa seems to be out of the picture entirely. I do think Mike genuinely loves his children but he doesn't strike me as the alpha type. He's the type who's happy to go with the flow. I think the people managing the flow now are probably as good as Jackie has had in years - maybe ever. I hope you are right but unfortunately Jackie is also one that goes with the flow and will take the easiest path and Mike knows that.

msims comparing Jackie's singing career to Olivia Rodrigo singing career is on the same order as comparing Jackie's "Growing Up Evancho" series to Jenna Ortega's "Wednesday" series.

Your last words "at least now now" may prove to be prescient. She was likely placed under the conservatorship long after it needed to be done. Things probably had been bad for a long time and it was a last resort. Jackie on the other hand has been in therapy and is on the mend. The eating disorder of course is a life long illness, but anxiety/depression can be treated. And I don't think you can compare Britney's mental state with Jackie's. Compare their Instagram posts. Britney's posts involve a 40 year old woman dancing around in circles in her kitchen, half naked, trying prove she's still "sexy" with a bizarre, crazy grin on her face. In Jackie's posts, she's talking about her mental health, how she getting professional help for it, and how writing songs about it is therapeutic.

www.billboard.com/pro/billie-eilish-women-top-three-billboard-200-albums-chart-doja-cat-olivia-rodrigo/Billie Eilish Leads All-Woman Top 3 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart for First Time in Over 10 Years By Keith Caulfield 8/23/2021 Billie Eilish, Doja Cat & Olivia Rodrigo score the first such triple since December 2010. For the first time in more than 10 years, the top three albums on the weekly Billboard 200 albums chart are all by solo women. On the list dated Aug. 28, Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever is No. 1, followed by Doja Cat’s Planet Her and Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour. The last time the top three albums were credited to solo women was on the Dec. 18, 2010-dated chart, when Susan Boyle’s The Gift was tops, followed by Taylor Swift’s Speak Now and Jackie Evancho’s O Holy Night. Honorable mention goes to the July 23, 2011, chart. That week, Beyoncé’s 4 and Adele’s 21 were Nos. 1 and 2. The No. 3 album that week was When the Sun Goes Down, credited to Selena Gomez & The Scene. (The Scene was Gomez’s backing band, comprised entirely of men. Gomez recorded three albums that were billed to Selena Gomez & The Scene: Kiss and Tell in 2009, A Year Without Rain in 2010 and When the Sun Goes Down; Gomez’s first solo-billed effort was 2013’s Stars Dance.) The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Aug. 28, 2021-dated chart (where Eilish, Doja Cat and Rodrigo are Nos. 1-3) will be posted in full on Billboard's website on Aug. 24. For all chart news, follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram. www.billboard.com/pro/billboard-200-5-top-6-albums-by-women/5 of the Top 6 Albums on the Billboard 200 Are by Women 3/21/2023 By Keith Caulfield It's the first time in more than 12 years that women have held five of the top six albums on the chart. It’s a big week for women on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated March 25), as five titles by female acts occupy the Nos. 2-6 slots. It’s the first time the top six has housed five female-led albums in over 12 years, since the Dec. 11, 2010-dated list. On the latest chart, all-female pop ensemble TWICE debuts at No. 2 with Ready to Be, while Miley Cyrus’ latest effort, Endless Summer Vacation, launches at No. 3. Three former No. 1s are next on the chart, with SZA’s SOS, Karol G’s Mañana Será Bonito and Taylor Swift’s Midnights at Nos. 4-6, respectively. The lone male in the top six is Morgan Wallen, whose One Thing At a Time ranks at No. 1 for a second week. Women last had five of the top six on the Dec. 11, 2010, chart, where the Nos. 2-6 titles were all from solo women. Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday debuted at No. 2 that week, followed by Susan Boyle’s former leader The Gift (dropping 1-3), Swift’s chart-topping Speak Now (9-4), Jackie Evancho’s O Holy Night (2-5) and Rihanna’s Loud (3-6) at Nos. 3-6, respectively. Before that week, women last had five of the top six on the Jan. 30, 2010-dated chart, when Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream, Kesha’s Animal, Lady Gaga’s The Fame, Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom and Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster were Nos. 2-6 (while Vampire Weekend was No. 1 with Contra). One might wonder, when was the last time the entire top six were albums by women or women-led acts? That last occurred on the March 1, 1997-dated chart, when the top six were: LeAnn Rimes’ Unchained Melody/The Early Years, Erykah Badu’s Badiuzm, No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom (fronted by Gwen Stefani), Jewel’s Pieces of You, Toni Braxton’s Secrets and Spice Girls’ Spice. For good measure, the entire top eight albums that week were female-led, as Celine Dion’s Falling Into You was No. 7 and the Madonna-led Evita soundtrack was No. 8. At No. 9 that week was the multi-artist Romeo + Juliet soundtrack, while Rimes’ Blue was No. 10, so women almost held the entire top 10 that week. Four of the Top Five On the March 18, 2023-dated chart, female artists also had four of the top five, with SOS, Mañana and Midnights at Nos. 2, 3 and 5, while Kali Uchis’ Red Moon in Venus was a debut at No. 4. (Wallen’s One Thing at a Time debuted at No. 1 that week.) The last time women-led albums claimed four of the top five before that was on the July 16, 2011-dated chart. That week, Beyoncé’s 4 debuted at No. 1 and was followed by Adele’s former leader 21 (3-2), Selena Gomez & The Scene’s When the Sun Goes Down (debuting at No. 4; Gomez was the frontwoman – and only female member – of The Scene) and Jill Scott’s chart-topping The Light of the Sun (1-5). The lone male-led album in the top five that week was Big Sean’s debuting Finally Famous at No. 3. Top Two Through Eight While we’re taking a trip down Billboard 200 memory lane, here is a recap of the last time women-led albums held the top two through eight albums on the Billboard 200. (Women-led acts have yet to occupy the top nine or entire top 10 since the chart began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in March of 1956.) Top Two: March 11, 2023-dated chart (Karol G’s Mañana Será Bonita, SZA’s SOS) Top Three: March 4, 2023-dated chart (SZA’s SOS, P!nk’s Trustfall, Taylor Swift’s Midnights) Top Four & Top Five: Jan. 23, 2010-dated chart (Kesha’s Animal, Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream, Lady Gaga’s The Fame, Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom, Mary J. Blige’s Stronger With Each Tear) Top Six, Top Seven & Top Eight: March 1, 1997-dated chart (LeAnn Rimes’ Unchained Melody/The Early Years, Erykah Badu’s Baduizm, No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom [No Doubt is led by Gwen Stefani], Jewel’s Pieces of You, Toni Braxton’s Secrets, Spice Girls’ Spice, Celine Dion’s Falling Into You and the Madonna-led Evita soundtrack)

Msims, your fact-dump posts are unable to stand alone because they don't have a point. They're like a page torn out of a report but the rest is missing. Is your conclusion that, a long time ago Jackie sold a lot of records? Therefore, what? So?

Is your conclusion that, a long time ago Jackie sold a lot of records? Therefore, what? So? The article that Msims posted is simply pointing out that Billie Eilish, Doja Cat & Olivia Rodrigo are Top 3 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart and the last time 3 woman were top 3 was 2010 with Susan Boyle Taylor Swift and Jackie.
