There's a guy named Kevin Kelly who asserts (with evidence) that a musician can make a living if they have a thousand true fans. His definition is: a true fan spends $100 per year.
Since Jackie turned eighteen I've found myself hoping things would suddenly turn around, back to what they once were in her heyday. That hasn't happened, and that irks me for several reasons, but I'm also finding myself being less concerned about that. This was unexpected, but my attitude has changed.
Some others on this forum have suggested that simply making a living on her music is about all Jackie could ask for. My thinking is similar, I believe that is all Jackie should ask for. She could avoid a lot of mental anguish if she lowers her expectations (assuming her career slide has indeed caused mental anguish). Put in a more positive way, I have begun to think of her as a someone starting out in a career. (Granted, she's "starting" with certain advantages, and the main worry seems to be that she has not made full use of those advantages, but that's another story.)
I've mentioned Mary Spender before. I've been aware of her as an artist who is literally just starting, and she now has over 600 active followers on YT. Her videos also have a high participation rate. This is a proper slow burn in progress, which is why I remain interested. I'm not mentioning her to promote her, but to use her as an example of someone who has been able to make something from nothing except talent and determination.
This video, in which she responds to comments about a previous vid she made about Spotify, is interesting because she talks about the importance of social media, and how others (with examples) have done well from it. She also offers advice on "finding your true fans" that I think is one of the things Jackie might finally be trying to do right. It may take a little time to sort out how to build back to financially supportive numbers, but "a Journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step" and all that.

Jackie can’t let any stone unturned, she has to get publicity for herself and her new song! Singing on local stations 🚉 isn’t enough! The writers strike is hurting but I don’t think the tonight show would have her on anyway because Jackie is not a known celebrity by many! So what can she do to get more attention, it’s above my pay grade! Singing next week during the finals of AGT would help her but realistically they won’t have her on they are moving on , they will never allow Jackie on again as a guest performer! Can she get seen on some other show to get publicity and what show would that be ?

Greg Camp is an example of someone who WAS very successful (much like Jackie) If Greg, Jackie, etc. can afford years later to live comfortably and make a living by touring (btw even if their hits were DECADES prior, such as Journey who still plays arenas and stadiums also Andrea Bocelli biggest hit was Con Te Partiro from 1997 still plays arenas) and/or release music that either charts or gets enough buzz to keep the Team happy, btw the head of MP is seeing all the numbers that you do not have access to. You are just picking what you want to make her look bad, its been the same routine for over a decade. As far as popularity, when you began to post under this account on amazon: NOBODY cared about what was popular. Certainly the Cat Man doesn't. Going as far as to disregard any argument that Jackie was popular at the time. When you created this forum, was it your intention to give space to those who encourage/enable those who are anti-Jackie to stalk Jackie and her family? Caz has encouraged/enabled "inside scoop" who doxxed personal info about the E's family location. Rickky (most of this forum enables his gibberish) has also posted the location of her NYC apartment. That to me is far more concerning than someone who wants to (allegedly) find or run into Jackie in a public space nowhere near her house or where she lives. |

AGT: Fantasy League will take the midseason spot occupied by AGT: All-Stars last season, though the latter is still alive at the network and could return another time. NBC teased a new twist on the format in announcing its 2023-24 schedule in May. Singer and songwriter Mel B — who was a judge on the main series for six seasons — will return to the judges’ table for Fantasy League, joining Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Terry Crews will continue his role as host. The show will find each judge choosing from a pool of past Got Talent winners, finalists and fan favorites from versions of the show across the world (viewers will have some input in determining the acts). The judges will mentor their acts over the course of the season in hopes of earning bragging rights should one of their selections win. Fantasy League is the third spinoff of America’s Got Talent, following last season’s All-Stars and AGT: The Champions, which had two seasons in 2019 and 2020. Fremantle and Syco Entertainment produce the series, with Cowell, Sam Donnelly and Jason Raff executive producing. |

First We Feast, you could fill this page up. There is a reason they are called influencers.
But first she needs to get away from Mike and maybe get some friends instead of staying cooped up all the time. There is a reason she is never seen in public.

Mike is the biggest anchor in Jackie’s life, he has caused more harm than good ! He is to cheap for one thing unless the money Jackie makes 💰 is spent on him like getting a corvette!

I think there is some concern at her age that it's not healthy, i.e. it has inhibited her growth/development into an strong, independent woman. Once you hit adulthood, most kids have a drive to get out there on their own, to go to college and live on or near campus, or get an apartment and job and possibly a significant other...although that part isnt necessary. I've always felt good knowing that Mike has always been around to protect and look out after Jackie, but as much as they are together...well, for someone Jackie's age it is quite unusual. On the bright side, she cant into much trouble. lol |

But that would be minor trouble with only short term consequences. Not that I think she'd turn into a wild party animal without Mike around. :-) |
