What specifically do you think are her personality flaws? I've always thought her personality is one of her strengths, but maybe that's because I don't have one. I think it is less a personality problem as a personna problem. Personality is who you are in reality - personna is the perception you give to the public. They are not always the same. For example, Ellen Degeneres used her talk show to project an image of a caring person only to find out it was all fake and she was a complete -Profanity- to her staff. Who you are and how you are perceived are two entirely different things. Her personna is fake and her personality is acting and suffers for that reason , people see through it |

She has a great personality as a human being. And it was perfect for "voice of an angel" - naive, sweet, respectful, compliant, kind, virginal. The personality every grandfather wishes his granddaughter had instead of the anti-angel personality she actually has - bitchy, foul mouthed, disrespectful, disobedient, inconsiderate, opinionated. Unfortunately, the angel personality that worked so well for small-girl-big-voice Jackie is much too bland and boring for popstar Jackie. What popstar Jackie needs is the anti-angel personality that is much more interesting and much more attractive to a late-teen-young-adult audience. Bottom line: there is nothing wrong with Jackie's personality but it's not the right personality for a successful popstar. Which is why I am so pessimistic about her new pop direction. "new pop direction " ? you mean her now again pop direction , she has always thought in the pop direction but team did not . |

Jackie has a good personality and she is perceived well by the public. Those two are in sync. Most of the fan frustrations are with the bad career management and the oh so many lost opportunities. Excuse me but she is not perceived well by the public an that is fact , the fact she can't do well in the music world . Haven't we established that her lack of popularity has more to do with the CC genre than the public perception of her personality? |

The general public perception of Jackie is someone too uninteresting to pay any attention to. The only time the public is interested is when she talks about her mental illness, anorexia, perfectionism, osteoporosis, and fake priests. Not her music. The public likes sob stories. |

The previous album (Debut) was Broadway showtunes, not CC, and it was not successful. Two Hearts Part II was pop, not CC, and it was not successful. I've long believed that Jackie problem has always been her songwriting and her personna. |

Than again Socal fan you have been saying Jackie is doomed for years , yet she is still singing for a living I have been pessimistic about Jackie's career for years and I was right. Her career continues its long steady decline. |

The press is more interested in those type of sob stories than the public. Unfortunately, it is the Evancho way to play the victim card, and she has fed the media beast very well. Yes, Jackie is mostly unknown and she has not done anything notable musically since TMS. Kudos to her for trying a reboot, and hopefully this time she will avoid the many landmines that have been sabotaging her career for years now. |

It’s amazing how many people like to pile on, I also put my 2 cents in , Management is my main criticism of Jackie not her singing ability on stage! she has been singing professionally since 2009 that’s a pretty good run a lot of singers don’t have a career that last over a decade in length!

The problem is that she did zilch to keep the momentum going aside from reminding people that she was kitty. People who searched her out knew that because of TMS knew that already, they were looking for something more. |

We see what she wants us to see when she's on stage or doing an interview. Yes, it's acting, but that's likely the case for most performers. |
