So you can't even quote your own post correctly, this is how its done: (Simsy then proceeds to druk-post in the wrong thread again, thereby showing "how its [sic] done." More of the same excuses about his defective floundering Fail-Moppet.)

It is sad when we have a poster who is excited at the prospect that Jackie’s career is almost over, I am very low right now at the prospect of not hearing Jackie sing 🎤 except from old Utube videos or old albums !

Grace Vanderwaal's old house in NY demolished but her tree house is still there. I remember when the Vanderwaals sold the property under market value during the pandemic just to be done with it (they had already purchased a new home). My guess is someone bought the property to build a new house but it has taken a few years to get permits, etc.. There are two connected tree houses made by Treehouse Builders (it was featured on an episode of the TV show). So these are not your normal treehouses - these have heat, electricity, running water, etc.. The treehouses add a lot of resale value, so I doubt they would touch those. It could either be a developer or someone building their dream house.

Just as Jackie's past success was no guarantee of success in the future, her current doldrums do not write her future in stone. If she can make some necessary changes, there is no good reason she could not turn things around. Now, if we are talking mainstream stardom, a lot needs to go right for that to happen as it depends on timing, backing, and luck as much as talent. But the current music situation with streaming has room for lots of niche areas where you can find your audience and make a good living.

But what is Jackie doing now to help her career in the long run, she should be getting on as many influencers shows as possible. I follow both Grace Vanderwaal and Kenzie Ziegler. Kenzie has been doing a lot more PR than Grace before their Videos came out. Like going on the Zach Sing show and doing other interviews. Many of the same thing Grace has done in the past. Nothing else I can think of would explain the big difference in their music videos that came out at the exact time. Both have good size social media and Grace's has been growing the quickest lately meaning she has a lot of active fans and Grace actually has about twice as many Spotify followers then Kenzie.
I think both songs have about the same appeal. Neither of them are a "Vampire" that got 12 million views in 24 hours and neither of them did nearly as much PR before their music videos came out as Olivia Rodrigo who seems to be doing something almost daily.
But Jackie does far less than anyone and needs it the most.
If these internet influencers shows didn't make much of a difference then you wouldn't see such big stars on them.

Even 4 years ago Grace gave great interviews. Notice at the beginning Grace talks about what we were discussing awhile back. That the producers decide everything and if they didn't decide that they wanted her to sing an original song that she would have sung a cover which she says you can't really identify yourself with and she probably wouldn't have won.
Seems very smart and quick witted even 4 years ago.

the current music situation with streaming has room for lots of niche areas where you can find your audience and make a good living. That is absolutely correct. Thanks to the internet, literally anybody in the world can post, for free, self produced music on Youtube or any other music sharing website to share with anyone else in the world who may be interested. The downside is that you are competing for attention with everybody else in the world who is doing the same thing. And thus far, I have not seen any advantage Jackie has over anybody else. She certainly has her great voice but, so far, that has not prevented her career from sliding to where it is now.

The only downside is you have people like Jackie who doesn't want to get off her butt an participate with all the tools that are available, she rather wait until someone comes along and pulls her wagon along. The people like David Foster that pulled her wagon along only do it if there is money for them. Now Jackie sits alone in her wagon but nobody is coming along.

People keep forgetting, Jackie has mental illness, she can’t perform like 👍 a normal person, so unless you walk a mile in her shoes 👞 you don’t know what she is dealing with plus the fact her family has gone in a tailspin! That has got to affect her no matter what kind of good spin she puts on it!

I think Jackie is receiving to much negative comments, I have personally analyzed what I have said and think differently! I believe Jackie deserves some compassion instead of all this oh she’s lazy, she doesn’t care etc! I think 🤔 we should step back and look at Jackie in a different light!

That has got to affect her no matter what kind of good spin she puts on it! How can people forget about Jackie's mental and physical problems her career at this point is relying on those problems. The only thing we get from the media about Jackie is all her problems the entertainment industry gave her. Of course none mention she had to support the family since she was 10 years old. Of course none of her problems are her fault or her family's in any way.

I follow both Grace Vanderwaal and Kenzie Ziegler. Kenzie has been doing a lot more PR than Grace before their Videos came out. Like going on the Zach Sing show and doing other interviews. Many of the same thing Grace has done in the past. Nothing else I can think of would explain the big difference in their music videos that came out at the exact time Actually, I thought I explained it pretty well in an earlier post. Kenzie has a huge fanbase on IG and Tik Tok who all went out and watched her video and streamed her song and will continue to do so for at least a month or so. Expect her to have huge numbers for at least that long. Then it comes down to will the song itself still attract attention with further listening. Raw stats are meaningless without context. If someone has a larger fanbase, they will attract larger numbers out of the gate. With "Hot" vs. "Waste My Time", Kenzie had a huge advantage then but after a few months Kenzie's fans stopped listening and Grace's fans kept listening. The reason is Grace's song held up to repeated listens while Kenzie's did not. In cases where Kenzie has a very good song, she will still be leading because she has more fans. Particularly when you take into consideration Grace's inactivity the last few years, some people listening to her music may not realize she has a new song out. Not everyone follows people as closely as those here do - in fact, most don't and it comes down to finding out by accident.
The one thing that streaming has changed is that it allows you to gauge reactions in real time. If you release an album and your fans start streaming it and after an initial period the streams just drop off precipitously, you know the fans don't like it. In the past, they were stuck with an album they didn't like and you may never know until your ticket sales start sinking. Now you know immediately. It also benefits those who make music their fans like as they will continue to get paid for the music since people keep streaming it.
Comparing Kenzie's video totals to Jackie's or even Grace's out of the gate is like comparing Tate McRae's to Kenzie's. If you have a larger base, you will have a larger push out of the gate. A lot of people watched that video and streamed that song by JoJo Siwa years ago. I doubt it gets many streams now. Not long ago, Dixie D'amelio's first single flew out of the gate because she has such a huge fanbase. Then Dixie discovered repeat success requires hard work and she doesn't seem quite as enthusiastic. Like I said earlier, I credit Kenzie for sticking to it and not giving up when it looked kind of bleak a few years ago. She could still eventually break out or find her spot.
What really matters is if people are still listening to it or covering your music five years from now. Grace can probably live on the revenues from "I Don't Know My Name" given it appears in most books and videos for learning the ukulele, is still streamed by young girls trying to learn it, and even appears in Girl Scout Songbooks.
