In case you all missed it, 25 year old soprano Patricia Janeckova died yesterday. Breast cancer. So sorry to hear that. I thought she was recovering after treatment. It's sad to hear this news. It was interesting to see how Patricia chose to sing in the classical genre to keep that style of music alive. I used to think that Jackie ultimately was going to sing in the same genre, but she chose another direction. One wonders if Patricia was able to earn a decent income working her craft. |

Yes, they study and train…Patricia did. I know many successful singers of opera who did and live with excellent incomes.

Yes, professor jackie, I use hear and too correctly. I have a masters; did you ever go to high school a day? After reading about Patricia J and thinking about my young adult kids and their successes, and I know JE was used by ignorant and cheap and broke people from age 10, but really, she doesn’t try. Probably ignorance, but just sick of her and think it is a couple of small Florida and Christmas concerts maybe, and that is it.
