Then Olivia should do like Sia and sell some. Artist like Jackie could sure profit from one. Probably just knowing it was written by Olivia should give it some traction. But that would not make any sense since Olivia's songs would be worth much more if Olivia sang them herself. Olivia couldn't get much more popular than she is now. However, being a source of hits for others adds a sense of musical gravitas since the songs will be successful based upon something other than Olivia's star status. For example, as successful as they had been, the status of Lennon & McCartney, Bob Dylan, and David Bowie were greatly enhanced by others getting hits with their songs. People in the industry start to view you as a permanent fixture rather than just "flavor of the year." |

Jacky Donkey was originally part of this song, but was later censored and removed from the song for obvious reasons (for the sake of not being objectionable/distasteful). I am sure Sia works something out with the artist instead of them just buying the song out right.
If Sia only got $1 for every 10,000 views on Youtube that is still $230,000 from Rihanna which she could easily afford. Plus it got 1,393,851,000 streams on Spotify alone.
Sia writes a song then she looks for the artist that she think has the right voice for it.
Olivia could do the same thing if she can write songs so fast but look for a little younger age group than Sia.

Someone like Sia would have taken Jackie in a different direction if she really was interested in popular music. Instead of Jackie going for the slow depressing songs that she thinks exploiting her mental illness will work towards, she should have went in this direction after The Masked Singer.

So the truth comes out! Instead of buying tickets to Italy for himself, you and me, he took an earlier trip to Italy to schmooze with Karolina Protsenko while she was there! And those 3 tickets he didn't buy for the Jackie trip would likely have made the difference between the event going ahead or being cancelled. Instead it was cancelled. OH, THE HUMANITY!!!  |

Okay, you busted me! Sorry guys, I couldn't help myself. I figured Jackie wouldn't sell enough Italy tickets anyway, so I risked it and booked with Protsenka. If it's any consolation, the private violin concert AWESOME!!!! Besides, Jackie probably woudn't have pet me on my snout like that. lol  I certainly hope my decision wasn't the thing that caused the cancellation. The SHAME that would ensue would be tragic. :/ |
