The growing response by US teens to the lack of steps being considered for reducing gun violence in schools is really heartening. Todays teens will be voting in the next presidential election and I predict that at that time Trump will have zero chance of being elected for a second term. In addition, Republican politicians openly supporting Trump and those politicians, Republican or Democrat that are two cowardly to speak up about the need for gun control legislation should seriously consider dusting off their resume for new employment or consider retirement cause their future does not look good. Like a Tsunami, given time once started, the backlash facing the current administration will be widespread and overwhelming. Todays teens have nothing but time and drive on their side whereas those standing in their way have limited time left before disappearing into a black-hole.

If the teens at Parkland (or anyone else) believe that only the President of this country is responsible for what is going on and is the sole person whose leadership can fix it, then we may be in more trouble than ever.
Scapegoating is the last refuge of a desperate populace.
State and local governments can implement policies and procedures that will help in finding a solution. School boards must be willing to take action regarding security measures, with or without federal government intervention.
Nevertheless, disrespect for secular authority must end. This has fueled the mentally unstable people who have a difficult time controlling their passions. A permissive society, bereft of morals, and, an unwillingness to obey Divine Law, always lead to the kind of mayhem we are witnessing now.

It is correct to state that the President is not solely responsible for fixing the school violence that continues and seems to be more frequent. However the President is the country's LEADER and must therefore LEAD. The current administration is showing a significant absence of political leadership and responsibility. The only recourse left to the up-and-coming new voters is to make every effort to convince the administration that positive change is needed and that the administration needs to garner support for change from Republicans and attempt to appease Democrats at the same time or keep his luggage packed and left in the corner of his bedroom.

Not only hold, but also how to handle it safely, and how to shoot it accurately, for hunting and self defense. Willyiam, guns have been in American's hands since there were Americans. These shootings are a relatively NEW THING, so maybe Guns are not the problem. I posted several video about David Hogg, Youtube took those down. Why do you think they did that? If you care about the lives of "little boys and girls" you surely must be against abortion which has taken the lives of sixty million little boys and girls in the United States. What I will ask is this; Do you think the coach at the school who died shielding students from the demented shooter would have liked to have had a firearm to stop the massacre? I will ask another thing; Why is the shooter still alive? He murdered seventeen innocent people. There are tons of witnesses. He freely admits to the crime. He should be given a perfunctory trial, found guilty, and sentenced to death. An appeals court should rule quickly that he was not coerced into confessing and indeed the evidence is incontrovertible and therefore the sentence should be carried out forthwith. |
