Emily Bear being sane, agrees with Alan Horwitz,
the democrats have DAMAGED the Consititution,
they have INFLICTED A WOUND on the system of Checks and Balances,
AND the Seperation of Powers,
they have ABUSED the Powers of Congress by impeaching for grounds that ARE NOT in the Consititution
It is Hamilton's and Madison's NIGHTMARE !
Hamilton said, the most dangerous thing that can happen is if you have an impeachment by the House just based on the number of votes you can get and NOT on Guilt or Innocence.
Madison's fear was that Passion would overcome REASON in the Congress. Madison referred to impetuous mobs as factions, which he defined in “Federalist No. 10” as a group “united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adversed to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community.” Factions arise, he believed, when public opinion forms and spreads quickly. But they can dissolve if the public is given time and space to consider long-term interests rather than short-term gratification. Which he envisioned could allow the Majority in Congress to ABUSE their POWER in ways that destroy our liberties and our Republic !
