Every person reaching Voting age in America should have a National I D card to vote , picture with number to show at voting booth , must have this I D to vote . But but but that would make it a lot harder to cheat. And had that been done in the last election we might not have our amazing President. I can't even imagine the dire consequences of that. The party of current President knew in their minds he was going to haunt them in time and the time is now, yes the system is corrupt used by unscrupulous politicians in D C , they used the system to conduct one directional flow of dishonesty <-------------left . |

But I don‘t think that is only a Dem problem en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_and_identify_statutesHere in Germany it is mandatory to be registered, to have an ID ...if you move - you have 14 days to register with your new address ...if you are checked by police you have to show your ID ... On the other hand ..as there is the election on Sep 26 ...I got note per post mail a notification 10 days ago - with my voting location ...if I want to vote by mail I can do that ...many will do this because of Covid - but the normal thing is/has been to go with the notification and your ID to the polling station - in NRW ID is enough - they have lists - check your ID with the list - if you have already voted by mail they see it ... Very easy ...it takes 5 min But the main difference is that we vote on Sunday, tons and tons of polling stations ..kind of all in your neighborhood... So it is very easy to vote. When I see the voting lines in the USA I always shake my head ...in Germany a polling station/ca 800 citizens ...so you should have a few thousands in a city like LA .. |

Germany's smallest electoral district is Hallig Gröde with 12 people eligible to vote in the last election. In the 2017 federal election there were around 73,500 ballot boxes and around 14,500 postal voting districts.

Correct as it is for all voters , voting lines get busy after 4 pm due to working people and Americans are very lazy and half the able people do not vote so the country gets what it deserves . |
