Yes, those PAST tenses are very applicable. "has been" and "have watched" in particular.

Unfortunately, after those particular instances, she threw the majority of her fan base under the bus by becoming an LBTQ etc spokesperson, and then subsequently threw those new fans under the bus by trumpeting for Trump. Then threw those new Trump fans under the bus by whining about Trump not going along with her pro LBTQ etc promotions and not meeting with her and her unfortunately ill brother/sister to change the laws to her satisfaction.
