Dr. Anthony Fauci tests positive for Covid

Fauci, who has received two booster shots, is experiencing mild symptoms, according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden, has tested positive for Covid-19, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said in a statement Wednesday.



Fauci, 81, has directed the institute since 1984. He is fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots. His positive result came from a rapid test.



"He is currently experiencing mild symptoms," the institute said. "Dr. Fauci will isolate and continue to work from his home. He has not recently been in close contact with President Biden or other senior government officials."

BOSTON, MA—According to sources, local man Marley Maddingly is on his 8th COVID booster, but he's still chasing that high he felt when he got that first Pfizer shot to protect himself and others while showing the world he was a good person.



"It's... just not the same anymore," said Maddingly sadly to reporters while applying his third mask and leaving the vaccination center. "The rush of adrenaline, the swelling pride, the warm feeling of safety—as if being wrapped in the arms of loving pharmaceutical executives, that's all gone now. I feel empty."



Sources reported that Maddingly is also quietly starting to question the effectiveness of these vaccines due to the fact he's caught COVID four times and had three heart attacks in the last three years.



"I'm 8 boosters in. I'm in too deep. It's too late to turn back now," he lamented.

Without knowing his physical peculiarities (mental peculiarities seem obvious, PC/wokeness overdosed hypochondriac), a particular explanation cannot be attributed to that. But there is a point beyond which more is NOT better, and short of extraordinary expert advice, bypassing the system for more is just plain dumb. Depending on how something works and whether later versions have been adjusted for new strains, that point might be an absolute number, or it might be a per year(s) number.

Just because for some (elderly and high risk - maybe he DID have some risk factors given the heart attacks, unless the vaccine excess caused them, which is possible) it's definitely worth the risk, does NOT mean that more means less risk. And at some point, MAYBE even the woke stop giving brownie points for stupidity, although if so, that point might be rather far out there. :-)

Rather than imagining conspiracy beyond the makers trying to maximize profit, I think a lot of the over-pushing is simply wanting to be seen to be doing SOMETHING...whether or not it actually makes sense. That's something that leftists in particular but also almost ALL activists (and to at least a slight degree, most human beings), tend to be guilty of.
