I see they finally realized Grace's voice needed all the audio enhancement they could get. Audio enhancement is a good thing. That's how Jackie gets her audio amplitude. And why she is not an opera singer. Does she still pretend she can play a ukuele, or have her parents got her some lessons. No, I believe that Grace is taking the organic approach. It is rumored to work for some people. I know Simon is looking out for his investment. Agreed. It is a shame that Simon did not choose to invest in Jackie. He tried to imho, but JE's parents kind of brushed him aside in the UK.

There I was watching an animated feature film on Netflix called Next Gen when I was completely surprised to hear Grace Vanderwaal's original song, Clay, as part of the film! I had no idea. It was about 10 - 15 minutes in.

Grace has a new single coming out next Friday, 2/22/19, titled: StrayFrom Grace (promotional email via Sony): "Hi. It's been a while. I miss you, it's been a year, woah right? So, here's what I've been up to.I went on tour for the summer and then filmed Stargirl for about ten weeks, both changed me greatly and made me into who I am today. When I got home, after the cameras and crowds and schedules, I found myself feeling...empty? Is that too dark?
Whatever I guess what I'm trying to say is I was quickly thrown into a hungry awareness of the fact that every second I live passes just as quickly as it came. Every memory, breath, step is only once. I would ignore this though and wish to relive my past, kind of in this battle of mind and heart. You practice something you get better, you don't practice something and you forget. But what if I forget how to be me? How do I get it back?
I went back to school and tried to focus on that but found myself missing music more and more. I made friends, more memories, and started to remember me. Unredeemable memories aren't there to be overthought, you collect. Collect as much as you can. I started writing and felt myself reconnecting with me.
Growing up feels like a storm you weren't prepared for. But how do you prepare? By practicing and appreciating you. "Stray" is close to me, not because it's the restart of my continuing path, but because it explains the exhilarating fear and freedom of growing up. I miss you, really. Please appreciate yourself before losing yourself. You are unique and amazing. There's so much more to come."

Grace may go down as the most successful singer to ever come out after winning AGT. Perhaps but her voice hurts my ears , it only proves how not important a voice may be , she sounds more like a talker then singer but to each their own .

Grace's biggest talent has always been with her song writing. Her singing is truly an acquired taste, and I happen to admire her singing.
