They are heading to Perth Au. now. Unbelievable how well Maddie and Mackenzie are liked in Australia and it looks like they took a liking to Charlize real quick. http://instagram.com/p/BkybKacFmHH

While the Zieglers & Co are traveling across the Australian continent to Perth on the west coast (12 hour time difference from US Eastern), here's something that might be of interest.
In the Sydney Q&A, one of the questions asked them to name their favorite of the Dance Moms solos they did. Kenzie answered that hers was "Sink or Swim". Incidentally, this was the solo she did when the two of them competed head-to-head and Kenzie won (the only time she ever beat Maddie in competition). "Sink or Swim" was an acrobatic dance; Maddie's solo was a tap routine. This was filmed in April 2015 when Kenzie was 10 years old. Her final front flip is unbelievable.
This was Mackenzie's reaction when they announced that she had won first place.
Maddie named "Lizzy Borden" as her favorite, because she said it was different than most of her competition dances where she had to smile and look pretty. This was filmed in December 2015, when Maddie was 13 years old.
One of my favorites of Maddie's solos is "Bond Girl" filmed in October 2015. The choreography was inspired by Bob Fosse's choreography in the film "Sweet Charity", specifically a dance number called "Rich Man's Frug". A fan created an audio-swap video using the music from "Rich Man's Frug" for Maddie's dance.

This is my favorite Maddie dance.
Because Sia watched it and decided Maddie is going to do her Chandelier video.
Then a week or so later.

Re: Sia and Maddie: Sia already had a Chandelier video out before she made the one with Maddie.
The first one now has 33,139,409 views the remake with Maddie has 1,864,409,926 views. It gave Sia a Grammy nomination and Ryan Heffington the choreographer a Grammy for best choreographer. But I think Sia really found that she got a lot more than she bargained for. They found Maddie could learn new choreography in a fraction of the time they thought she would need, this enabled them to do all the TV shows and even on one late night show Maddie did three different dances for Sia. Then Sia found that she could start doing concerts again with just Maddie dancing on stage while she stay hidden in the corner. Maddie did it but it was really to much for her to dance a whole concert, the first concert they did together you can see Maddie really breathing hard before the last number even started. Than Sia got several more dancers and Stephanie Mincone as Maddie double. And Sia kept that same team.

I like "Come to the Cabaret" the best because it helped propel Maddie's career. But I actually like the dancing she has done after DM. Especially with Brian Friedman. Like this one with Charlize Glass.

Richard, I agree that "Come to the Cabaret" is a terrific solo! The following discussion might be academic, but I know from your posts that you like factual information, so I thought I should share this. I do remember that a clip from "Come to the Cabaret" was shown during a behind-the-scenes video when Sia was talking about her reaction to watching Maddie on Dance Moms. It was the video about the making of the "Elastic Heart" video. The clip is seen at the 2:26 mark, which is cued here: However, "Come to the Cabaret" was first aired on Dance Moms on April 8, 2014, one month after Sia tweeted to Maddie. The dance was filmed in Buffalo, NY, on February 8, 2014. dancemoms.wikia.com/wiki/Lights!_Camera!_Dance! I think Sia had been watching Maddie on Dance Moms for a long time before she tweeted to her. The show was airing its fourth season at the time of Sia's tweet to invite Maddie to be in her video. Sia spoke about crying when watching Maddie dance, but I don't know if it's possible to say which dance she was watching when that happened - my guess is that it happened more than once. I think Sia probably recorded all the Dance Moms episodes and watched them at times of her choosing. The most recent new solo that Maddie performed before Sia's tweet was "Ballerina", in the episode titled "No One is Safe" which aired on January 28, 2014. The next new episode after "No One is Safe" was titled "Timeless", which aired on March 4 (the date of Sia's tweet) but it would have aired at 9 PM Pacific, later than Sia's tweet at 5:07 PM. In that episode, Maddie performed a solo that was also titled "Timeless".

Frances Nicole Real. Well I can't argue with you from the dates of the video I showed and the date of Sia's tweet that video was shown about a month later. You are right about seeing it on the BTS video.

The first one now has 33,139,409 views the remake with Maddie has 1,864,409,926 views. It gave Sia a Grammy nomination and Ryan Heffington the choreographer a Grammy for best choreographer. Sia received four Grammy nominations for "Chandelier": Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video, but did not win. The Chandelier video was nominated for a Grammy for Best Music Video, but the winner that year (2015 awards) was Pharrell's music video for "Happy". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Best_Music_VideoHowever, the Chandelier video did win the award for Best Choreography at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandelier_(song)Quote: The choreography was praised by media outlets; an editor from The Guardian wrote that Ziegler "dances with such impressive flexibility".[54] Nolan Feenay from Time magazine commented that the dance moves in the video could be the best dance routine of 2014.[57] "Chandelier" received nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards for Video of the Year and Best Choreography, and ultimately won the latter.[58][59] It was also nominated for a 2015 Grammy Award for Best Music Video.[2] The video went viral on YouTube and became the seventh most-watched video on the video-sharing website of 2014.[60][61] As of June 2018, it has received over 1.8 billion views and was, at one point, the 13th most viewed YouTube video of all time.[62]

That's the link for that specific episode. This is a great resource too. It lists all of Maddie's dances on Dance Moms, listed by episode. dancemoms.wikia.com/wiki/Maddie_Ziegler/Dances

Here is something that I found interesting about the dance moms show. I have heard so many times about how little they made off the show. But if you go to page 21 there is an actual copy of the Hyland's season 3 contract that became public because of a lawsuit. Their contract starts on page 21. www-deadline-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Dance-Moms-Assault-Suit-WM__140215022006.pdfWhere as Jackie contract seemed to have restricted her so much and the Evancho's complained for years about it. The Dance Moms contract you could just walk away from, of course you wouldn't get that big finishing bonus at the end of the year. some things to note the Hyland's would have made over $460,000 for season 3 if you look at wiki for number of episodes, and special plus they got paid for some things that I have no information on. No telling how much they would have made by season 6. Also notice that Abby Lee Miller's name is not even on it, she was just another actor as the rest. But as far as Maddie and Mackenzie is concerned DM's was just a stepping stone and they don't even talk about it unless someone brings it up.

Well the youtubes of the tour are starting show up. Seems in the comments that many are comparing it with the Dance Moms Irreplaceable tour. Looks like many didn't care much for the Irreplaceable tour but they loved this.
