Teen Choice Awards, August 2017. Maddie and Grace Vanderwaal each won a Teen Choice award that night. They also co-presented an award along with Millie Bobby Brown. Maddie and Millie had been friends for over a year by this time. For several months there had been a lot of talk about the three of them wanting to get together, and finally at the Teen Choice Awards they met for the first time and shared a stage together.

One thing you have to recognize - JoJo is unstoppable. She's got so many deals going on at all once.

She's quick, too. In March 2016, not long before Maddie and Mackenzie left the show Dance Moms, all the girls attended the Kids Choice Awards together. Joe Jonas' group DNCE had one of the biggest pop hits at the time, "Cake By The Ocean", and they performed the song at the Kids Choice Awards. As they performed, the band members left the stage and moved through the audience. When Joe Jonas passed in front of JoJo, she was ready, and she snapped a selfie with Joe - as he was singing!

The video shows the moment, at the 0:36 mark. It happens quickly, so it's better to watch the video on YouTube on full-screen, and play the final five seconds at the slowest speed. At the end of the video, you can see Maddie and Mackenzie's jaws dropped when they realized that JoJo had pulled it off.

Frances Nicole Real: I think JoJo is a great person and role model for kids but she talks so fast I can't understand half she says. Maddie loves her and says JoJo makes her laugh 24/7. JoJo is also very popular with the youtubers crowd like Miranda Sings.

Yes, me too. I can't understand her when she talks so fast (and loud). I usually only watch her videos when it's one about a special event, a birthday celebration, or something like that.

Another friend of Maddie's at least I think she still is, is Chloe Lukasiak.
I think a lot of people think they dislike each other because there has always been competition between the two.
Chloe also has a big house in Pittsburgh and an apartment in L.A.

This is so fricken cute it popped up watching your video of JoJo I usually watch this guys video's and he promised he will do something in a tutu if he hits one million subscribers which he just hit. One of these girls was in one of Sia's videos. This looks like it just posted today I wonder if Maddie and Mackenzie still have enough flexibility for him.

By the way I had to watch that a few times to catch JoJo getting that selfie. There is a video of the girls challenging each other to a selfie contest. JoJo won by making a selfie and tagging it and posting in on instagram in 8 seconds.

That is one thing I criticize Jackie about just sending selfies it only takes a few seconds.

I am really surprised that Jackie has never met any of the dance moms girls. Chloe Lukasiak's new house is only 4 miles from Jackie's and she was going to dance studio 19 who made pedestal with Jackie. I think Chloe now goes to the Dance Mechanics the same as Maddie when she is in Pittsburgh.

At least Chloe was taking classes at Dance Mechanics fairly recently.

Her name is Lilliana Ketchman who was in Sia's lyric video for "Move Your Body". She was on a couple of seasons at the end of Dance Moms, I think.

Remember "Glamour Shots" - those photo studio shops in malls in the 80s and 90s? Anyone could go in and choose costumes and have photos taken. Glamour Shots was the idea for the set in the video, which has 62 million views. In the video, she feels the music but her parents don't understand, until the end.
