Leave it to donkey to put his negative spin on Jackie’s new song, you know most people don’t analyze music like you and others in this forum does! I have not seen such comments on Jackie’s Utube video , they just enjoyed it and replied as much, Jackie has received high praise from the vast majority of those who have posted, it’s called music not brain 🧠 science! Jackie will never be able to do anything to bring praise for in this forum! If this forum was around in 2010 it would have said Jackie was lip-sinking during her performances!

I don't know what is so great about Grace, she has 1 Album and 2 Eps and NONE of them went to #1. she is all hype, she is so overrated!! and her voice is ordinary. You are so right, Grace's voice is ordinary. But here's the sad thing for Jackie - most people prefer Grace's to Jackie's voice: As for Grace, she has never been a big star. Jackie used to a star and the fact that Grace is doing much better than Jackie should tell you something. It isn't 2011 any more. Here Grace's top 20 streaming songs for 2022 as of yesterday: first column of totals are JUST FOR 2022; second column is complete totals 1 Burned 6.8m 23.5m 2 Moonlight 6.7m 112.5m ... Those numbers, while certainly not anywhere near the totals of someone like Olivia or Billie, dwarf anything happening to Jackie since streaming became the dominant medium for music. Jackie's big release this year is the remake of "Both Sides Now" with 53k streams on Spotify and a video with 281k streams. Grace recently released "Lion's Den" that after a few weeks has 523k streams on Spotify and has a main video with 681k streams along with an additional 49k streams for a lyric video. Jackie's releases of lesser know Joni songs have yet to break 20k streams [as of the time of the post]. What does it say about Jackie when most people prefer an ordinary voice to hers? One might argue that Jackie's strength is in song sales, not streams. But most Billboard categories (such as Classical Albums and Classical Crossover Albums) count both sales and streams and COT failed to make the Billboard charts in both those categories. Notes: 1. To amg1977: It would be interesting to see an updated comparison of Grace vs Jackie now that COT has been out for a number of months. 2. Because a lot of people would rather listen to Rap music than Jackie’s, why can’t people have a wide interest in music? I like Rock, classic, country etc!
