Here we go with the old myth that Jackie doesn’t need training, coaching or practice. For me, the question is whether training, coaching or practice will improve her career in any significant way. I don't see how it would, since what she needs is better songwriting ability and more charisma. At least she would be taken serious by professionals…in the moment she is only …by desperate people in business…she had no serious gig for years…she is a total amateur when it comes to singing.. The handling is snobbish… an insult to all musicians who take their job serious…

How do you get the professionals to take you seriously? By selling lots of tickets and making lots of money. Then the professionals will copy what you do because they want to make money too. Why do you think Taylor Swift gets all the attention of the professionals?

Here we go with the old myth that Jackie doesn’t need training, coaching or practice. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard Jackie fans spout this idea that a vocal coach will change her voice. Jackie’s voice is her voice! It belongs to her. What coaching can do for her is to help her sustain a note or phrase without running out of breath. It can help her project when she needs to, instead of always sounding like she’s never sung outside her bedroom. It can help her to find places in her voice that she never knew were there (she did this very thing while recording The Debut). A vocal coach is not going to try to make her sound like Beverly Sills, or anyone else. She will always sound like Jackie, but better. Jackie is not an opera singer, she is a singer. Singers are musicians, and musicians know how to control and get the most out of their instrument. Stop equating skill-building with snobbery. It's a moot point in Jackie's case....she's 23 yrs old, has had a full career by the age of 18, and seems to have no interest in voice lessons. And you saying she sounds like she never sang out of her bedroom is snobbery. I don't think she sounds like she never sang out of her bedroom, and neither do most who have heard her. I have no doubt she could improve her singing technically...but she sings just fine for the average fan. Besides, you can imagine how hard it would be for someone who has achieved the kind of success Jackie once did to think she need voice lessons. "...seems to have no interest in voice lessons."If this is really true, why should anyone who values and admires dedicated artists take an interest in her? _______________ "...snobbery"An opinion you don't agree with is not snobbery. She most sings with an insipid, quiet as a mouse voice. She could do better. _______________ "...she sings just fine for the average fan."Way to encourage Jackie to be mediocre. _______________ "...hard it would be...to think she needs voice lessons."It's not punishment. It's not shameful. Why do athletes need coaching? Why should a winning quarterback need coach? Why do athletes have personal trainers? You talk like I'm saying she needs to go back to primary school and start over. She's a professional musician, of course she needs a vocal coach.

Jackie has stated she is a perfectionist, so she is critical of her voice and has worked on it over the years and anyone with an ear can detect that. Also anyone with perspective knows she has worked with coaches over the years. She was gifted with perfect pitch though, so she already sounds better than 99 percent of other singers and the results speak for themselves.

Again...I don't agree that Jackie's singing is mediocre...more snobbery. I think she's had an incredible career even if it ended today...a career that one doesn't attain with a "mediocre" voice. Her singing isn't what led to her career decline. Using the term "snobbery" wasn't used merely because your opinion differs from mine, it was used to describe your claim that Jackie's voice sounds like it never left her bedroom. That is demonstrably false as Jackie has had a career in music, albeit at a very young age. She has toured around the world, given hundreds of concerts, and sung with a number of well known, highly regarded professional singers. I'm not saying who should or shouldn't be a Jackie fan today. Frankly, her efforts at times seem very minimal. And I'm not saying that vocal training is BAD idea. I'm just saying I doubt it happens, and I don't believe Jackie's vocal technique has anything to do with the current, sad state of her career. Countless successful singers, in the genres that Jackie is interested in singing these days, have had little to no professional training. Persona, uniqueness, really good original material, exposure and good marketing...those are the things Jackie needs to have a decent shot at second career in singing.

Nice going, Donk. Just in time. I was considering a reply to a ridiculously stupid comment implying that coaching is only for opera singers, and country singers don't have them. (Or something like that, I don't have it to quote because you edited it). Not that you need to be held to the ridiculously stupid comment that I caught, but you could have give your post some thought before posting it.
Pro tip: 1) Decide what you want to write. 2) Write it. 3) Proofread it. 4) Make necessary edits. 5) Final check. 6) Post it. 7) Leave it alone.

Shhhhh...your post said nothing the slightest bit interesting or constructive. Next time, respond to actual comments, not supposed comments that you would rather respond to. Makes you look like you are making stuff up.

Yawn...I did edit a post I made seconds after I posted the original comment...to make it a little more clear and concise so that you could comprehend it. And yes, genres like opera require far more vocal training than genres like pop and country. Look up how many Opera singers have been classically trained vs successful singers in other genres. But no worries...I'll let Willie Nelson and Freddy Mercury (RIP) know you think they need vocal training. ROFL PRO TIP: Instead of eagerly waiting at your keyboard, ready to instantly reply to the next comment...give it a few minutes to breathe. Mabye get a snack, go to the bathroom, call a friend, or get a life in some fashion. Just for a few minutes. ROFL

Again this is gaslighting and you just contradicted yourself. Jackie is a perfectionist so she has already critiqued herself and that is how she has improved. You believe Jackie is a perfectionist just because she says she is. A perfectionist would not keep such a lousy Manager. A perfectionist would do everything possible to improve herself and her career. Jackie does as little as possible to keep her career. Your argument about Mike has to do with videos which ive already covered but as far as "career" that infers social media. Artists and actresses who are far more popular than Rickky's pop-atoes/children have taken social media breaks such as these names that all have some connection to Jackie: Drew Barrymore (she just started following), Gigi Hadid (before she was famous), Big Boobs Billie, Selena Gomez, Lana Del Rey, Sarah Hyland (she commented on her social media after her fans thought she was Kitty), Cheryl Burke (she danced to Jackie singing on dwts), Kim Kardashian (she was a fan), Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran (Jackie's biggest spotify song was written by him). Rickky's children have taken breaks too one of the Dance Mom Girls and Millie. It also is a known fact that her favorite actress Jennifer Lawrence is popular and doesn't use social media.

I thought it was very interesting. You (I mean Boss of Boss) could just try to refrain from editing your posts for twenty, even forty, minutes after you make them. If I'm not mistaken, you hold the record. Editing is a lazy practice. Take the pro tip above instead of your nuh uh! that's you! denials.

Jackie has perfect pitch because Simon Cowell says so. He would have to have perfect pitch himself to make that call. What results speak for themselves. Getting a couple of insignificant concerts a year. We hear her all the time say what she is going to do but we never see any real results. Start with Spotify Jackie has 126,181 monthly listeners. Try to find someone we heard of that has less than Jackie.

You can't compare Jackie to other well established artist and artist like Millie Bobby Brown, Jennifer and Jenna Ortega are actors that can stay dormant for a long time until another of their movies or series comes out, then gain a bunch at one time. Jenna Ortega gained over 30 million new instagram followers since her Wednesday series came out. I don't care how you try to spin it Mike was taking down videos of Jackie when her career was just starting out and needed the most exposure she could get. It doesn't only have to do with social media there are a lot of other things she could be doing to make herself more popular that we have mentioned here before.
