What are your top 5 favorite Jackie songs?
Here's mine:
1. Burn
2. My Heart Will Go On
3. Writings On The Wall
4. Nella Fantasia

What are your top 5 favorite Jackie songs? Here's mine: 1. Burn 2. My Heart Will Go On 3. Writings On The Wall 4. Nella Fantasia 5. Open Fields Of Grace I'm with you on 2. and 4. The other three, not so much. There are so many I like, I don't know I could possibly get it down to five. Ave Maria, Imaginer, Lord's Prayer, Mi Mancherai, Nella Fantasia would all be up there on my list for the more "classical" sounding songs. For the pop songs, My heart will go on, Somewhere, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Reflection, Wonderful World would all be winners. What do you think about the songs on "Carousel of Time"? it was the first album that i thought that she was too good for the songs, the best songs were River, Both Sides Now and A Case Of You, I still listen to the album, i didn't have any problems with her voice just the songs, it wasn't as good as i thought it was going to be

What do you think about the songs on "Carousel of Time"? it was the first album that i thought that she was too good for the songs, the best songs were River, Both Sides Now and A Case Of You, I still listen to the album, i didn't have any problems with her voice just the songs, it wasn't as good as i thought it was going to be I've enjoyed some of the songs on this album...more so that the last Broadway songs album. But they don't hold a candle to her older material. Fortunately in Nashville, she sang tons of her older stuff too, and it was REALLY good! I was taken aback at times by the power that her voice was capable of projecting...caught myself saying "wow" out loud a couple of times. One interesting little story...at that Nashville concert, Jackie was getting ready to sing Burn. She was acting insecure about introducing that song in that she was indicating that she didn't think her fans really liked it, but she really loved to sing it. She was pretty apologetic about it. She looked over at me as she was saying this and I just smiled and gave her a big thumbs up to show support. That seemed to buoy her and she smiled and returned the thumbs up, twirled around and starting singing Burn...very confidently I might add. lol Part of that song is in my concert video on YouTube. I just find it intertesting that doesnt think her fans like that song much...I wonder where she got that? Reading comments online I guess. |

She has a nice voice… but you would find a voice or even better voice in every Sunday mass …JE was the 10 yo money making clown in a trash casting show … there were for sure thousands and thousands better singers of her age in the USA…I am pretty sure even in the AGT audience… Now it is too late…she totally lacks the basics |

Joni Mitchell is absolute world class in her songwriting not everyone likes Joni Mitchell, the reason i listen to the album is Jackie's voice, i just love listening to her sing |
