I just watched a CBS news report that opened my eyes to what this child separation policy really means:

Separating children from their parents has been an immigration policy
since 2005, and the Bush and Obama administrations both preferred to
apply a less severe version of the policy. Under both administrations,
not everyone crossing the border illegally were considered criminals and
only if it was learned that the children did not belong to those that
said they were the parents, were the children separated from the alleged
parents while they were processed further. Then in April of this year, the tRump administration (Sessions “Zero
Tolerance”), issued an order that everyone attempting to cross the
border illegally, will be considered criminals and adults and children
cannot be deterred together. Thus, if you are attempting to seek legal
asylum in this country with no criminal agenda, and your only choice of
entry was not a legal entry point, you will be considered a criminal,
your children will be taken away from you and placed in cages in random
detention centers and in all probability, you will never see your
children again. The only difference between the 3 administrations, is the level of enforcement!

<tmui></tmui> The parents should be separated and should be sent back or put in prison for child endangerment. Have you read the dangers to children going across Mexico to illegally enter the US. I don't feel sorry for the parents at all. They should stay in their own country and if they seek asylum it should be in Mexico as the UN stated their neighboring country not the US. |

I just saw a headline on Yahoo that said Republicans in favor of seperating children. As a life long moderate Republican I am not in favor of it. I think it is despicable. Keep in mind I am not a right wing nut job. In my opinion this violates basic human rights. We are becoming a police state. I'm afraid of cops now.

Keep in mind I am not a right wing nut job. In my opinion this violates basic human rights. We are becoming a police state. I'm afraid of cops now. Don't base your beliefs on FAKE NEWS. The real happy stories is when you see them all deported for illegally coming into this country. They need to stay home and fix their own country. That is how bad government in the past failed. Now all they just flood into the Western world and demand a free life.

Good article kids have been abused for money and gains for 1000s of years. The welfare system used to be abused the same way, and that was the beginning of the gangs throughout the US. You had some lowlifes popping out kids just for the welfare checks and putting the kids on the street as soon as possible, many of the gangsters say the gang is the only family they know. Not that I care why they are in a gang just shoot them all. |

But don't hold your breath. Some people revel in corruption and those who don't, either abide or will move--legally or not-- into America or some other haven. Nothing short of a miracle will change the Mexican political system. I just pray for the innocent people who believe they must live there. How many fighting age illegal Mexicans are over here right now 5 million would be a very conservative figure. Many times more than the army and cartels in Mexico. You don't hear them talking about retaking or changing their country no they want to just mooch off the American people.

All BS the children should be taken to their foreign embassies in the US and let them deal with it. That is exactly what happens with any American child found in another country, our embassy in that country takes care of it.
