I get the feeling it’s success has a lot to do with her self worth… if it doesn’t work out, that’s extremely worrying.
It's apparent to me that Jackie has in the recent past been addressing her fans when speaking about her music, never intimating that she is hoping for commercial success. |

Jackie does have the ability that a lot of YouTubers dont have. Due to her early career successes, she can still get on some local tv stations in large markets like Chicago and NYC and try out her new material. It's really good exposure.

When have you ever heard any artist say: I'm doing this for the bucks? But there's a reason why Jackie has anorexia and sings about perfectionism. And Jackie can't be too oblivious to know that she has no career without commercial success. But I agree that it makes no sense for us to worry about it. It is what it is. |

as far as her look goes on that show, well, IMO she's trying way too hard. Much less hard than Miley Cyrus in Wrecking Ball. And look where she is now. Miley Cyrus Used to be young but she is 30 now and released a new song and music video about it. 22 million views in two week means she still has it IMO. Just something to keep in mind. It's like anorexia. She knows she isn't seeing herself as she really is, but it is still a way of thinking that she has to confront every day. I try to remind her of her worth as a person from time to time on her social media, and that the singing stuff is the just icing on the cake. I try not to do it too often as I want to be supportive not sound preachy, but every now and then I try to slip in a little friendly reminder/reality check. lol  |

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Jackie Anastasia Lee! The numbers pretty well show that Anastasia Lee is right. Jackie only gained 9 instagram followers since her song came out.

I think her goal needs to be smaller to gradually grow a relatively small audience...enough for a career niche. |

It is so funny how much the bar has been lowered for Jackie, It used to be that she will be bigger than Lady Gaga.
Now it's as long as she doesn't have to flip burgers.

BME appeared on a playlist for Pandora which is a different service. It's a decent size one, but not nearly as big as Spotify. The hope is this will spur other services to add BME as well. Any idea which Pandora playlist it was? There are playlists of all different subscriber sizes so it makes a huge difference. |
