I don't think its too exiting...looks like she will just be one name in a whole pile of names performing...not exactly a place for her to stand out. But a whole pile of names means a whole pile of people attending, including people with influence in the music industry. Jackie being in the lineup at any festival is good news – in fact way better news than a solo concert. Any time she can perform in front of an audience is good...she should do it...if nothing for no other reason than to perform in front of a younger audience and see how they react to her performance. Also, mabye it's an opportunity to network a little. It's a positive thing...just saying it's probably not a significant thing. But it's definitely worth doing. It's a lot better than doing nothing, that's for sure. lol

You’re right Donk, just another face in the crowd. Unfortunately we all know how her last wine events turned out. Hey Sims, have you bought tickets yet, you know being a top OTT fan that you are, front row seats are in order. Hey, you and Uncle Len can sit beside each other and give her a standing ovation after each song, have a contest who can yell out BRAVA BRAVA the loudest. ROFL! I assume Uncle Len and his entourage will have to enter to win tickets just like everyone else not on the invited list. What I like about this event is the diversity of musical interest that will be in the audience, rather than the homogenous front row crowd usually there. It's different, which is kind of refreshing to see.

There was a time that the E's, or at least Lisa, freaked out at the thought of her performing or touring with someone else, but things have certainly changed since then. When? I brought up with her years ago about co-headlining with another CC act and she said paraphrasing that one should take it up with her booking agent. So im going to again call bs on that. Call it whatever you want to call it. By the same token, I call your comment BS.

The remaining ones were taken, but they gave him another one 5 days ago. He's only see that cat once since Monday morning and it hasn't come out to eat or drink. I doubt the organization knew about the first 2 dead cats, just the 3rd one. well, he got the cat from some people. rickolsen: You'd think he'd be really hungry and thirsty by now. The people I got him from said they kept him in a mud room with a dog who gave him grief. That's why they gave him away because they wanted their dog. No wonder he's scared. I hate people like that. So a rescue didn't give it to him? Now it makes more sense. A rescue wouldn't have given him another cat, rightfully so.

Lisa has not been involved in her daughter's career since 2015 and even prior to it wasnt Lisa's job to book the concerts, it was out of her hands so that was what she said to me, if you she said something else to someone else, so what? She was fine when Jackie toured with other agt acts just not happy about what Jackie made.

I would assume so based on this from the LITV About page: ( www.liveinthevineyard.com/about)

I was originally confused by how LITV works. It says it is 3 days and 2 nights of concerts, fine foods, wine, and luxury accommodations. And you can't buy a ticket, it is invitation only. So who is paying for all this? There is a list of sponsors but they don't seem to be the kind of deep pocket companies that can afford to ante up the big bucks for an expensive event like this. In particular, are Jackie (and the other musicians) being paid to perform or do they pay to perform? I'm now quite sure that Jackie (and/or her label) are paying. If you read the quote from Guest 4 above, it's clear that this is a promotional gig that the labels/musicians/managers are paying for in order to display their "new music releases" in front of "music supervisors, radio programmers, DSP curators" (i.e. the people who decide what music to stream). That's why fans can't buy tickets, fans are not the target audience that Jackie/labels are paying to reach. In other words, this is a gig that Jackie/MP paid for to get the attention of streaming platforms.

That sounds like a worthwhile investment. Like every other investment, it depends on how much you paid and how much you got out of it at the end.

True, but all investments involve a level of risk...and this seems like some exposure that Jackie could use. Whether it pans out and yields dividends or not is another matter, but she needs more exposure so it seems like an investment worth making. It seems that the label or Jackie think it is at least...whatever the price to attend is.
