She may not have called anyone. It may have just been bluster. I thought Disappointed was going to turn Rick in , I guess she was just bluffing! I emailed the director of animal control, Autumn Pumford (who Rick had encouraged people to email and tell her he was a wonderful cat owner) and I included screenshots of the shoutbox where he mentioned the other cats dying and this one disappearing, and pleaded that someone needs to go over there and save the cat. I said they already have a file on him. She simply ignored everything and said I would have to go to the office or call and file a detailed personal complaint. I'm not bothering to go that far. Someone should have told me how hard it is to take care of cats when I was 8 years old, I just found a stray in the woods that was close to me, took it home and fed it, and let it out when ever it wanted to. I had several cats that I either found or were given to me. I was about 18 or 19 when I purchased my first house cat, that I never let out who seemed to be quit content to stay inside. But still they were no problem to take care of, much easier than any dog I have owned. If you can't take care of a cat then you probably can't take care of yourself they are that easy to care for. The last one I had for 17 years before it died on me.

I feel sorry for Jackie, it is plain to see she is trying to get more followers as she has been on instagram more than I can ever remember, espacilly with no up coming event. Worse I checked her instagram and she has 102,255 followers that is down from the 102,290 she had when her new song came out. I know some will say it is only a small percentage of 102k but it is still in the negative direction. Singing the phone book sound like desperation trying to keep some or her older fan group, when she should be singing maybe a cover of Olivia Rodrigo, something cute and catchy like "get him Back" but put some life in it.
Maybe Jackie could put some life back in her youtube.
Kenzie Ziegler made a youtube channel that is completely separate from her professional one.
Here she is doing the Hot Wings challenge based of the Youtube show that so many celebrities participate.
Seems like you can purchase a box with all the different hot sauces. Jackie could try to do this with a sibling or possibly Sophia Rose or Christina Turino since she doesn't have any friends.
Kenzie never should have picked one of her friends that was Mexican for the competition.
From the comments her fans really liked it. Jackie has missed doing several trending thing like this in the past.

It's obvious that Jackie is well aware of the dismal state of her career. I've never seen her push so hard on her social media and to no real avail. I think she knows she's largely done in terms of reinvigorating her career. A new album might even be in jeopardy after the results of the release of her last song. I am confused as what she thinks she is accomplishing by waiting so long to release more of the songs that seem to be ready to go. No touring in the last year and no tour currently scheduled for the upcoming year. Does anyone else hear TAPS playing in the background? |

I agree that the long delay between song releases is hard to understand. But I'm sure it is MP's call, not Jackie's. The only reason I can think of for the long delay is to time the release of the 2nd song to coincide with the Napa Valley shindig that Jackie/MP is paying for. I agree that the results of BME have been disappointing. But I'm sure they will release the whole EP since they have already spent a lot of money writing, recording, producing and promoting the EP. No sense giving up on it in mid-stream - might as well see it to the end. |

That all illusions of life being a paradise one or a few generations back are false has nothing to do with whether some new media or devices are so prone to abuse that they're on balance a negative. Most people probably ought to do a year survival course on an early 19th century tech limited farm (northern, just to be clear). They'd pick up a lot of skills other than farming. And learn whether there's any truth to farmer's daughter jokes, too. :-) |

The Legacy Fans Advantage hypothesis: Somehow I've been thinking that NOT having to start from scratch is Jackie's inherent advantage: That given her built-in followers (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) all she had to do was reach them and they would respond. Where are they? Are they actually still following? Did no one except active fans get the memo? I haven't seen the numbers go up, which makes me think that she hasn't reached new listeners. But is that true? Wouldn't we know whether people have heard the song or not by all the usual indicators? I personally haven't been keeping track, but it seems to be this forum's general opinion that the numbers aren't there. I'm out of ideas. I am actually surprised that her new song seems to have landed with a thud. I had no illusions of the song going viral, but I thought she'd at least pick up a few thousand or so, and that would be a starting point for the next release. I'm trying to stay positive. I want to hear what's next. I want her to have a chance to prove she can make a good, listenable album of originals. Okay, the next album is in the can, so to speak, and it hasn't quite been a month, so I'll shut up now. |

rickolsen: Colby still hasn't come out. Star and Stormy are so friendly. Star is laying on my desk with me. Stormy is laying on a folded up table across the room. That is his spot, but he comes over and lays on my lap for his fair share of pets.

You don’t restart a career without their being problems, many here expect way to much, I still believe she will live a comfortable life singing! forum members are gleefully giving you a like for your doom and gloom comment about Jackie! When are you hosting the funeral on Jackie’s career ?Sorry I won’t be there because I am not a fair weather fan!

I Knew Disappointed would be back, her hatred for Jackie keeps bringing her back, she is allowed to say what ever she wants about Jackie in this forum! How could she pass it up being able to say what ever you want without any sanctions give!
