If M&L are amateurs then how did they manage to pull it off? They didn't pull anything off, they fell into a perfect storm of dumb luck. Although Lisa did con fans of other popular CC singers like Hayley Westenra into voting for Jackie on the Youtube show. Plus they pretended it was Sarah Brightman who was Jackie's inspiration when that wasn't even the version of POTO that she saw, and tapped into Sarah's waning, but still significant audience. Due to Lisa's pretenses online, Jackie got a free pass to national TV, where she got lucky due to being paired with Yvie as her AGT coach and performed far above her head. In addition, Susan Boyle had just gotten mega coverage as BGT's big star, and America wanted their own hero. It all fell into her lap. Mike did nothing, Lisa drummed up enough support by pretending to be a fan of other CC artists on their fan boards. I will post this for Rick O as he likes football. It was like a Hail Mary pass that deflected off one guy's foot and went into the air, bouncing off another guy's helmet and then into the air again and ended up in the unsuspecting receiver's hands for a touchdown. Once in a lifetime. Fluke of a generation. ETC. |

Jackie being on the show was not a con Job , those were the way things were on season 5 of AGT, OTHERS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THE SHOW, JACKIE WAS THE TOP VOTE GETTER AND RECEIVED A TRIP FOR HER AND HER FAMILY ! Disappointed is just showing sour grapes 🍇!

And relative to the previous year with zero concerts, 2022 was pretty good. But the last year has sucked for touring for Jackie. So let me get this straight msims...you seem to be putting the onis on Jackie saying it's been a great year and a half instead of manning up and saying it yourself. Jackie has a vested interest in spinning things in a positive fashion. So are you saying you agree or disagree with Jackie on that? Quit hiding behind what Jackie said and take your own stance. |

I feel like a yo-yo in here. One minute, I'm shooting down msims fantasy that Jackie's career is doing just great as he considers me anti-Jackie, and the next minute I'm laughing at Disappointed's claims that Jackie whole career was nothing more than a con as she considers me an OTT Jackie fan.
It's a wild ride in here, sitting between OTT Fan Land and OTT Anti-Fan Land. ROFL

How can a career be doing great when you haven’t had a concert so far this year , this year is past the halfway point of being over, a lot of other singers work on album 💿 and go perform concerts at the same time!

I think the reason that you always say "move on", Simsy, is that you NEVER moved on. You got stuck in a time warp when you got devastatingly infatuated with Jackie when she was 10. You still see her that way and always will. Also, I have decided that your obsession with "Cait" must come from your personal past as well. My guess being you were either born as a girl named "Caitlyn" and transitioned to your regret, or wished to be a girl but were never able to be. "Caitlyn" or "Cait" is in reality, YOU. Yes, YOU...SIMSY. She is the woman that you either once were, prior to transitioning, or the woman that you always wanted to be. You, Simsy, are Cait.  Your first post on this forum was "Yasmine". You figured with mawriter's influence that for manipulative purposes youll gain more leverage by pretending to be a woman and thats all its about. I called you Cait after Caitlyn Jenner but thats better than Bruce Jenner. As far as your argument about me, absolutely stupid. But with all that conning you do you could have never have hoped for anyone better than Colt, whos an easily programmed robot. Updated: As far as being "devastatingly infatuated" bs: I did love the voice and her ability to sing on pitch to my ears, which is very rare for any singers much less her age (very very few of them close but there have been a few who are ok) or any age to sing that well. Those who dislike her hate how effectively shes been marketed. Is it my imagination, or is this a rare moment for you, msims? You have a well-earned reputation for being an attack dog for Jackie (a la CL, Rehoboth and others on YT), but I don't recall you spending a lot of time complimenting her musicianship. It has always seemed to me that your purpose in life was to argue with critics of Jackie about facts and figures, or even to scold people for not being fan enough. So if you have waxed poetic about her singing before on this forum, I apologize for the oversight. This isn't an accusation, it's a sense I have about you. I'm sure you'll tell me to wake up and smell Caitlyn's perfume or something. Disappointed, I think he says "Move on" in order to assert control over a conversation.
