It looks like Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis should be out in a few months. Coppola and all the actors involved who have discussed it are excited but are smart enough not to discuss plot details. collider.com/francis-ford-coppola-megalopolis-update/Coppola already did an IG post praising Grace's work and, for her part, she stated on an IG Live that she could die fulfilled knowing she was part of this project. Although little concerning roles have been confirmed, Grace likely plays a teen pop star named Vesta who is sleeping her way to the top. Judging from earlier plot outlines (all subject to change), the Vesta role is pretty racy. She is having an illicit affair (she is supposed to be underage) with the main character (played by Adam Driver). One scene in earlier outlines has them copulating in a giant bowl of candy. I would imagine there is at least some partial nudity involved. So here is a theoretical question .... and I fully acknowledge it would have been very u likely, but I'll ask anyway. If you were Jackie's advisor and she had bern offered the part, what would be your advice? Absolutely take it. She'd get to pretend-pork Adam Driver, and it would be film #2 on her resume of things no CC.

Mike shut down the JME forum around late September 2013. Why did he kill the forum? Was it to send OTTs packing, or was it to squelch critical comments? I felt it was the latter. Even ten years ago people were pointing to ruts in the road ahead. There were some interesting and constructive comments made, but anyone who made them would be covered in vitriol by venom-spitting front-row fogeys. Wasn't it Lisa that shut down that forum? If I remember correctly, she was PO'd that a fan was taking photos of Jackie and the family at a football game. She was also getting mad about the chatroom feature embedded into the forum website. It was Mike who announced on JEFC that he was shutting down the forum, and that he wouldn't be archiving the discussions. He also said he'd set up a temporary forum, which was done on freeforums or freeboards (I forgot which). I never saw that forum, so I'm not sure how long it lasted, but I think that's the one Lisa closed. There was some discussion about JEFC closing on a small forum called Best of Jackie on the Web that might still be up? (I haven't checked). That forum was started before Mike ended the forum. In retrospect it ended up being a good place for people to breathe easy because comments weren't censored. Nothing got rough there, but it was definitely a looser forum (and less worship-y) than JEFC. It wasn't very well attended except by one person who hung out longer than anyone.

If you were Jackie's advisor and she had bern offered the part, what would be your advice? No brainer - take the part. What does she have to lose? Jackie 2.0 died, Jackie 3.0 is dying and Jackie 1.0 doesn't look very promising. Jackie could use a wrecking ball.

I don't think he killed the forum to squelch critical comments since those comments would simply have been posted elsewhere. I think it was all the in-fighting and the time consuming hassle of moderation. The forum became more trouble than it was worth. Didn't you have to pay to join that forum You had to pay to join the Jackie fan club but the forum was free. I did not pay anything.

Since the dreams are flying big today, let's all imagine that Jackie gets asked to be the first female Pope. Wow, wouldn't that be something! Should she accept it? A big advantage is she could then sing for the Pope anytime she wants to.

Besides, bad girl parts are usually more memorable and the candy bowl scene is likely to be over-the-top memorable with Coppola directing. The only reason for saying no would be if she just was too uncomfortable taking on such a role. If she didn't want to, that's fine, but I wouldn't be swayed by fans.

But what some still dont seem to realize is that Jackie IS a good girl. She's certainly not a "bad" girl. It's who she is...its her nature. Sure she has wanted to shed the "everybody's granddaughter" image, but she a conservative, "good girl". Face it.

So what are you implying Donk, that Jackie would be a great homemaker- wife but not a pop or rock star. 😇

I'm not kicking anyone, just pointing out the facts. If the truth hurts, that's on you, not me. There are positive facts. Pretty sure they appear more often than you point them out.

Not for 10 billion dollars and billions of people knowing your name.

She got sick and tired of the OTT behaviour directed towards Jackie and her family so it’s not that hard to understand her angst towards the fans. I get her getting tired of crazy OTT behavior. But sounds like she also got carried away with other things, like making people pay for autographs, not allowing videos or photos to be taken in concerts, etc. If that is all true, that was a bad customer relations move. Now I will say, the one time I dealt with Lisa, she was very nice and made every effort to accommodate me. Of course, I was buying something from her, so there's that. ROFL You're contradicting yourself once again. That is the same policy as most artists and musicals, etc. No cell phone/flash photography. Even one of the biggest comedians Dave Chapelle on NYE walked out of a show because a person was using a cell phone. Btw I quoted the NYP.

Unfortunately, you just destroyed my hopes that Jackie would turn from the current path and would become a rock and roll singer. Joan Jett and Pat Benatar offered a new, fun sound to the classic rock spectrum. You are probably right about the good girl syndrome, dang it Donkey.
