Lol! You obviously have some reading disability. This guy is as OTT as it gets. Sure, he has begun to admit lately that her career is waning, but still makes these OTT comments about how sweet and innocent and wonderful she is, how she would never do this and never do that, everything is excused due to mental illness, etc. And he grovels and drools on every social medial post she makes. You should have kept your Painted The Tail name, as you are quite obviously a permanent fixture on Donkey's butt. After participating in Lisa's forum, I can tell you that Donkey is mild in comparison. Correct, I am a big Jackie fan...enough that I might be willing to drive hundreds of miles to see a Jackie concert (although I haven't had to do that yet...I try to find something much more convenient) but not so much I'd drive a thousand miles to the east coast or fly to Italy and spend $6K. I support Jackie on social media, but I would never do any of the crazy stuff OTTs are known for. I would catagorize myself as a very big fan, but definitely not in the OTT league. You have to have a screw or two lose and not have self awareness to fall into that league. LOL I would call disappointed an OTT Anti-Jackie fan though.

That's total BS that you and your OTT buddies dreamed up to justify why she got the boot. She got the boot because people liked the other remaining contestants better. You same OTTs dreamed up that she actually won AGT by over 5 million votes but the show decided to give it to Grimm. LOL. Keep on dreamin'! In the real world, TMS did nothing for her and she's desperately trying anything and everything now, but nothing is working. Richard (a skeptic at best) had followed the shooting schedule; and the late February concert NOT cancelled was a matter of record. The conflict was obvious. TMS did the same thing for Bret Michaels, who also had a schedule conflict; Nick's conversation with him at the reveal hinted at that. And TMS has said before they can accomodate people not available for the entire shooting schedule. The only thing they haven't said outright, is that people not available for the entire shooting schedule won't be able to win; but a lot are there for the experience of working outside their usual genre or other reasons than just winning. It doesn't matter whether the fans voted Jackie off TMS or she decided to leave. Because, either way, TMS did not help her career. TMS did not help COT (which did not appear on Billboard charts except an irrelevant one and whose tour lasted only 6 weeks in half empty venues). Nor did it help the first 2 songs of her new EP (whose Spotify streams have been very low). So what does it matter one way or the other?

Of course they won't say that..because if they said they were faking the vote tallies to let people leave early, it would be a huge scandal, huge news, and the end of the show. These accusations occur with every show like this when some people's favs get voted off early. AGT, American idol, etc. It's never even been seriously alleged to be the case, much less been proven. I don't buy it for a second...these shows aren't going to perpetuate a fraud on the audience and risk losing it all to fake votes...the show, their reputations, etc. The accusations are all about jilted fans watching their beloved fav singer not advance to the next round. If you read the typical talent show terms and conditions, they are NOT game shows at all but just entertainment with the illusion of competition (like pro wrestling), they don't have to be fair, and they can remove anyone at any time for any reason at their discretion without revealing that they did or why, so it looks as if they were voted off even if they weren't actually. Moreover, the judges have at least as much influence as the audience. Audience votes are just to involve people. Although when no scheduling nor behavioral issues cause someone to be kicked off, some combination of audience votes, judge votes, and maybe ratings (although audience votes might imply those) probably does determine which is eliminated and which isn't. Think of audience and judges as no more than advisory (like commie parliaments), with a hidden dictator either going along with them or not.

Singing anonymously in a bejeweled, furry cat costume appeared to have no affect at all on the unfortunate state of Jackie's career.

If any even slightly positive news is posted here, you freak out and get into a mad scramble to try and spin it negatively immediately. I simply point out the fact that what you consider positive news while you jump around screaming and celebrating, is nothing at all. The last thing that you said was positive was a video of Jackie and Mike standing around and getting hit in the face with a swinging object. Even when it is something music or career related that you are giddy about, it is almost always something that will amount to nothing, and I clearly state that. And of course, it does amount to nothing, which has been the case for several years. And will continue to be so.

Think of audience and judges as no more than advisory (like commie parliaments), with a hidden dictator either going along with them or not. You cant claim that viewers voted someone off if they didn't. That would be clear fraud to the viewing audience and would totally discredit the show. It would be a huge scandal. Less so if the judges were the deciders...you might get away with that. But not the viewing audience. That simply wouldnt fly. Now I grant you, a show like TMS, where everyone is basically already a celebrity and arent playing for a prizer or fame....not as big a deal as it would be say for American Idol or AGT. But you just dont want to get into the business of lying to your audience...really, really bad idea. If that sort of conduct every was made public, those involved would be so done. lol

It projects a level of narcissism that an artist should always be concerned about their stats. Jackie will always be able to perform, write, record, and tour. As far as donkey, the two face-ness is something that I don't care for.

Content-wise, COT (already under development, although way too slowly) had about as little to do with what Jackie performed on TMS as one can imagine. Together with dropping off the radar for nearly a year shortly after the TMS recording and the two early 2020 concerts, of course it didn't help. Had the concert schedule held and she had included in them full length versions of a couple of the songs with broadest appeal that she did on TMS, it probably would have. (my choices for two songs would have been It's All Coming Back to Me Now (dramatic) and Mercy or Unstoppable (True Colors is good but old)) DAAGBF which she later added fits slightly better with the rest of her set list (although none of those I mentioned would clash like DW or MBH) but doesn't broaden the appeal of that set list.

Melody Place and Jackie seemed happy with the results of COT, Jackie seems happy with the fan reaction to her new material. If COT wasn't successful and lost money, then I do not see how they could afford to hire Sara Evans and David Foster whos notoriously not cheap. Actions, not words.

LoL...sometimes you make good points, sometimes you just want to spin something negatively. But the fact that you NEVER have anything good to say about any Jackie news ever is the dead givaway Disappointed. LoL..well, that and the fact that you have admitted to your negative Jackie agenda. lol About the TikTok video about getting hit in that face...that was just a personal point about it being great to see jackie happy and having fun. A lot of the time she doesn't seem that happy. That fact that you have a problem with even that is simply sad. I enjoy Jackie's music, but you must have me confused with someone else. I have said many times that its not working , its not gaining a new audience, nobody is hearing it, etc. I'm always brutally honest about how much of a long shot it is for Jackie to successfully be able to revitalize her career. It's not looking good...at all so far. But I do really like some of her new music. Not sure that I'm "giddy" about any of it though. lol...that's a bit of a stretch.

It projects a level of narcissism that an artist should always be concerned about their stats. Glad you agree that TMS was a fun thing that didn't advance her career. Jackie will always be able to perform, write, record, and tour. Sure, if you consider 3 concerts and a private gig in a year to be "touring". And if you consider releasing songs that few people are streaming to be "performing, writing and recording".

If that sort of conduct every was made public, those involved would be so done. lol TMS is obviously entertainment in the format (but not assured reality, maybe a BIT more real than pro wrestling, but not much) of competition. As you said, they're ONLY playing for a trophy which is clearly stated; they all probably get paid expenses plus not much (whether those are identical or not, I have no idea). The other two shows you mentioned are among those that are much more nearly competitions, where people would expect that the competition was reality, not illusion. Prizes aside, the opportunities are different. For some on TMS, just to have fun and to show a different side of themselves (the non-singers, think Drew Carey or Sarah Palin or for that matter Gronk); for others, to show their abilities in genres beyond what they're known for. OTOH, on the more real competition shows, there are relative unknowns looking to become known, with their identity in plain sight the whole time, and even more than the prize, with the possibility of a contract if they win or place near the top.

Donkey and other fans can enjoy Jackie's music while following her career and at the same time find room for improvement. It's the last part of that equation that you aggravates you. Pointing out areas for improvement comes from a desire for Jackie to succeed. It's time you get that, otherwise you are going to continue to bang your head against the wall. It appears that you are continuing to kiss Team E's butt because you are holding out hope that they are reading your comments here. Keep dreaming those dreams, Sims, dream away

David Foster whos notoriously not cheap. I don't know how they did with COT, but as a tiny startup, it had enough visibility for them. But I think you messed up on the bit I quoted above; DF effectively hired them, not they him.
