To you OTTs, Truth = Hate, that is your theory. What is true is that I will be happy when everyone sees the truth about Jackie, which many already have. But there are still many fairy tales and false claims to refute. And as I have previously said multiple times, I do not "hate Jackie" though I very much dislike OTTs and their idiocy. And I do think she is quite undeserving of all the praise and accolades she got, mostly due to chance. So, you hate anyone who is mildly positive about Jackie - I stand corrected. Your time would be better spent curing the folks on youtube and the social media sites. There is an endless supply of slobbering going on there. So if you really care about your cause, spend more time on those sites as you would have a chance to become the great Florence Nightingale of our times. Here, you are stuck in that awkward position of attacking fans when they say something praiseworthy about Jackie and ignoring them when they are critical of her. You are stuck between a rock and a hard place, but the Youtubers, Facebookers, and instragrammers can provide you with an ocean full of lovesick Jackie fans. Those folks are in extremely desperate situations that only your cures can provide. Can't you just see it now, Florence?  This post looks like it was made by someone who sat up drinking all night, which it likely was. LOL. As you well know, the social media sites and youtube channels are run by and monitored by either the E's or OTTs. That is why there is only mushing and gushing there, because anyone who doesn't mush and gush has their posts deleted or is blocked. They are generally not for discussion anyways, just a sentence or 2 related to the original post. This is the only forum that purports to be open to discussing openly, in the vein of Amazon. That is what Socal has indicated is the case, so you have no say. If he hands the forum over to some OTT nut job like you, Donkey or Simsy, of course I would not post here because truthful comments would not be welcome. |

It would apply to any OTTs who: - exaggerate and outright lie about past accomplishments of their idol - attack and try to drive off anyone who posts facts they don't like about their idol - cut down or discredit other young talents who are as good or better than their idol for no valid reason - claim their idol actually won a major talent show rather than the actual winner - claim their idol would have won a talent show but was not allowed to due to another commitment So if you know of any other singers' OTTs who do this, let me know and I will also go and give them the what-for. |

All you could have done or at least admitted to was asking a simple question, "When are you playing more dates?" or "When are you booking dates to support your new album?". What is offensive about that? Maybe you just don't want an answer in case it doesn't fit into your narrative. The narrative as far as struggling when she can book gigs (in between album releases) and make $30k+. Thats not struggling, thats very good and that doesn't fit your narrative issues. Trolling is when a person cannot moderate themselves and purposely as you have done write what you know isn't true. Also forums are created for fans and being objective as a fan was historically what amazon was about, OTT and M&G have nothing to do with the history of amazon of which ive been apart of the whole time. You weren't there and neither was ChrisR or Danny Boy. Where did you get Jackie makes 30+k a gig. You are the only one that brings that figure. You think by posting it enough people will buy it. Olivia Rodrigo will probably get over 30k for filling a 20,000 capacity Arena that she rents out. Not Jackie working for a night club where she is just the guest singer. How do you know an OTT jilted ex-fan? -is bitter, spiteful, and hateful toward said artist and artist's fans -is immediately triggered and leaps into action to quell even the slightest positive news about said artist -never has anything positive to say about said artist...that is unacceptable -tries to minimize said artist's talent by claiming things such as it was all luck -attacks any joy or enthusiasm about said artist using negative spin and name calling ROFL |

Fair enough on all of the above points. I also like "re-discovering" music I never paid much attention to. YouTube reaction channels are good for this because you get different perspectives. Yesterday I listened to Nick Lowe's "Cruel to be Kind" on Andy and Alex's channel. Then "Rock Lobster" by B-52s and "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits on This Is It reactions. The first one is a couple of college age dudes, and the last two is a trio of older hip-hop fans. Two completely different directions toward appreciating something that wasn't on their radar. I like to see that. You might want to look at the strictly instrumental Sultans of Swing version Some crazy good guitarists (Tommy Emmanuel in particular, but all of them, including the bass). |
